Admittedly I'm not sure how LKA is supposed to work because I've never had it on a vehicle before, but I'm pretty sure I don't have it programmed right. My truck is an XLT EB FX4 with 4K tow package.

I did purchase and install an Escape left combination switch/stalk with the Lane Keep button. I went by the Ultimate Forscan Spreadsheet instructions, and now have the menu options showing and enabling the feature. When I am driving I see the lane keep icon in the upper left of my display, but it is grayed out and seemingly not active. Pressing the button on the Escape stalk doesn't do anything that I notice.

Did I miss something in Forscan, or is there a trick to getting the LKA up and running?

Is your speed over 40 mph? That is the minimum speed it engages.

Yes, I tried engaging it at over 40 mph. I'm guessing it's the setting that distinguishes between having the push button stalk installed or not.

Double check you have all of the settings correct especially such as in the IPMA. If it's staying grey then it sounds like it's not identifying the lane lines.

Maybe confirm in the As-Built hex values as per the Lane Keeping System retrofit thread instead of just relying on EZ-mode.

yeah try that link above. and You have an XL Ecoboost correct? what year is it? do you have cruise control too? I can compare your vins coding to an XL ecoboost of the same year with co pilot 360 and figure it out that way.

SO I double checked some of the coding from that link and a few of the codings are completely unnecessary and may cause other faults and some codings are missing. I made some corrections and made new instructions. @TrailMaster try these codings pictured below.

I also kept the EZ mode instructions and believe it does work now that I added the driver alert codings to it.

I really appreciate everyone's suggestions. I did get LKA up and running properly following the the Lane Keep Retrofit Thread. I skipped messing with the BCM (didn't touch it at all) and the last three 720 IPC settings. Apparently they weren't necessary, but I'll keep an eye on MPG display. I did try ENOR24's suggestion from post #6 before going into As Built modules, but they didn't get the system to recognize the LKA button without doing so. Anyway, everything is working properly. The display shows the LKA icon which changes colors properly, and I do get a small steering wheel nudge and vibration to alert me to my bad. WHAT A GREAT FEATURE! FORD SHOULD ENABLE THIS ON ALL THEIR VEHICLES AT THE FACTORY.

I updated the spreadsheet to reflect that link almost exactly. @TrailMaster Can you confirm your coding matches the picture of the instructions below at some point? Just so I know I have it written correctly for other people to use in the future ! Thank you
