I'd wait for the 2025 at this point. Ford has increased the Maverick prices about 25% since 2022 and they actually have de-contented them.

2025 is a refresh with at least upgraded infotainment and the price increase will be minimal.

A possibly better alternative to the x plan is the farm bureau discount. You can join an Illinois chapter (I joined Cook County) for $20. The farm bureau discount is $500 off. And, no, it doesn’t matter that you don’t live in Illinois, it’s just that their state’s farm bureau memberships are cheap. My PA one would have been $100. The only rule on Getting the discount is that you must be a member for 30 days before the delivery of your truck which should be no problem for a new order.
The Farm Bureau $500 discount is great, I have used it twice.
I have had Farm Bureau insurance on my farm for 30 years. USAA raised my car insurance premium by 100% :devilish: in October. I got a car insurance quote from Farm Bureau and saved thousands.

Hi friends, we about to order a new 2024 Maverick XLT, AWD, tow package, XLT luxury package and the 360 Safety option package. Do you have any advice for us in this purchase? We will have to add a tonaeu cover and also thinking about an extended warranty from Flood Ford. Advice for a new owner?
Like was posted I think you should consider the FX4 package. Don't take this information as fact but I believe it adds a heavy duty fan and shroud, tow hooks, skid plates, suspension upgrades (shocks), all terrain tires, a specific wheels, larger screen, hill descent and two different modes but it removes eco and sport and replaced them with mud and ruts, and sand modes.

Another option if you have fx4 is to switch to p235/65r17 all terrain tires but it also changes the wheels. You gain 235 all terrain tires.

I think the FX4 is 795 and the p235 AT tires is 745. Depending on what your expectations or planning with your Maverick. If your not going in the back 40, off road or snow you might like the all season because they should be quieter on the highway and better mileage. I opted for both because I wanted extra cooling besides the trans cooler on the trans with 4k tow. I also didn't care for the black wheels on the FX4 but wanted larger tires for better traction along with all terrain tires and the added carrying capacity that p235 have a smudge more than the p225. Whatever you decide best of luck with your new truck.

Edit I also wanted a little more ground clearance. Guessing it only adds about a quarter of an inch. It will probably hit you in the billfold because it most likely lose mpg or fuel economy both with all terrain tires and wider. I was willing to sacrifice or take the hit because of what I gained and felt I needed or could use on a daily basis.

At this stage of the current model year, I agree with several others on waiting and ordering a new MY25 when the order banks open. It's been reported to have some needed upgrades

Also, at the price point of your build, the lariat with same build options has some nice features included that wouldn't drive a huge difference in price point from where your currently at. Just a thought - price it out and run the numbers between the two and your budget.

I ordered this exact build(see sig below)back in June of '21 and still love it two years later. At the time it had all the right features I was looking for and at $28K the price was right.

Like a few other members have already mentioned I wish I would have added the FX4 package as well. For only $800 it adds a lot of features for the money.

If he ordered now he’ll probably get a ‘25 anyway considering the wait time.
That’s a good point. OP maybe try to find a dealer that DOESN’T have any allocations left to be first in line for a 2025 lol

If you don’t want to wait, I can give you my dealer in Mobile Al. Has many 2024 hybrids in stock. But I do suggest you go with the Lariat trim. It offers quite a few more options. Good luck and happy trails!!!!

For me my must-have items were the ecoboost and awd,
the BAP and sunroof were my indulgences but I really like em and the bed liner that came with the BAP is pretty nice. The lux package adds a lot of stuff too like the heated seats, power seat, heated steering wheel, lot of stuff. I'd about class it in a "must have" though you can live without it.

I also went with the FX4 like the guy above and many of the same reasons.
I am not sure how long you will wait if you order a truck. I went on www.ford.com and had a truck in a week. I just had to drive 100 miles to get it. I live in Milwaukee and entered my zip code. It searched locally and in the Chicago direction. Then I entered the zip for a town way up north and searched there. Then I entered a zip for a town on the west side of the state, and that is where I found 3 trucks. Called the dealer to make sure it was available, and went up the next day. Not exactly the color I wanted or exact extras, but I HAD a truck. No waiting and no searching for weeks. Good luck.

Congratulations I ordered my lariat July 17 ,23. I just received it the other day on Feb 9 one word to the wise when you’re going over the options and you come to the Turbo link truck bed lighting it shows you that lighting being mounted on the side, passenger side of the bed, I found out this is a dealer installed item and when the dealer installs it, they install it on the back pillows by the tailgate I went round and round with the dealer and he says when we get the parts from Ford to install, they come with instructions and instructions said that is where they are to be mounted to say the least I was not happy and to boot when they mounted them the first time they mounted them facing outwards so they had to redo it and flip them around. obviously they don’t have common sense.

are order banks even open? with how popular the Mav is, they only allow so many orders per year. unless you absolutely need gas mileage, dont waste your time on a hybrid. get a car that gets good mileage instead. i personally wouldnt get anything less than a fx4. you get xlt, 4k tow, tow hooks, decent skid plates, etc etc. i went from a 22 xl with 4k to a 24 fx4 xlt. lariats are just not for me, too much fluff in them.
