Nothing crazy—just lets you crack the rear windows a bit for airflow while helping keep bugs and random debris out.

Might be worth checking out if your Maverick spends a lot of time parked in the sun or sitting around camp.

Roger that and the window louvers you stick on above the window let you leave the windows down an inch or even two.
They let a lot more air flow through.
Windows can still be opened and closed with the buttons, nothing in the way.

My sun shade helps keep the oven down to warm, not so hot.

Remote start with A/C set to Max needs only five minutes to comfy up the cab,
Ten minutes cools it nicely,
Fifteen on max is dam near cold.

I've never had a vehicle that got colder quicker on max AC.

If you have your rear slider open when parked, you’ll get a lot of bugs inside

I've had set of these for the past year and recommend them highly- these and a windshield sun reflector keep the internal temperature down on hot or sunny days, in addition they allow some active ventilation while driving without any rear-window-open air shudder. Easy to pop out for a trip through the carwash, and will keep out rain except for the heaviest thunderstorms. In cooler weather make great vents for Mr. Dog without opening the windows... I've been very happy with mine.

I open the sunroof and the slider and the air passing thru the truck is awesome.

Have a friend up here who bought those vents, did not keep them, donated to a thrift store.
Very poor ventilation compared to the stick on louvers,
Let’s rain in when driving,
Has to be removed if you want a quiet cab If you want to roll up your windows.
Compared to simply closing your windows.

I’ve had the old school kind on several vehicles.
They worked fine in the rain, as long as someone else didn’t splash you with a puddle blast.
Again easy to roll up your windows.

So no I’ve never had them and would never want them.

Second point, the openings are small.
The old school kind, one out of four should equal the opening area of both of those.
I used to leave my windows down a full inch, every window.
Much Much more air flow.
