Installed the Mabett rear window vents today. They fit perfect and will be great for days when you don’t need a/c or heat. Perfect for letting in fresh air and a breeze!!

But does it stop the buffering noise that happens when back windows are rolled down?

Yes , they eliminate virtually all of the wind buffeting at all speeds-

Edit: The wind buffeting noise is eliminated when the windows/vents are in this position. Windows must be rolled up to this position to hold the vents in place.

🤓 🤔 I haven’t taken a picture yet. Put mine on yesterday 1-28-25. My question is? Do they need to be removed when going to a car wash? I’ve already ask Ryan in a PM, this morning. Just need a couple of opinions.

From my use of them, I would say no to leaving them on in the car wash. They will block rain, but not water aimed directly at them.

Unlike window vents that are permanently mounted to the door/window frames, I view these as a temporary solution, to be installed and removed easily, as needed.

🤓 I did that before I went to thru the auto wash yesterday. Thank you very much.

Very important tip about the water issue. Thanks for passing that along.

I like these a lot, but I don't know . . . $30 each seems expensive. Then again, might be one of those purchases that make such a big difference in comfort and would be well worth the price.
