The new Light Blue 2026 Maverick color is out!

Just poking around on CarGurus and came across the new color simply called Light Blue. That's according to Ford's online configurator. It reminds me of Robin's Egg Blue on the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It seems a bit loud like Orange Fury. Also, it doesn't really fit the character of the Maverick. What do you think? Anyone have one of these on order?

Very true but not my cup of tea. If I ever get another one, it'll be Velocity Blue. I've always enjoyed that color.

I think it's a cool color, but I do agree it just doesn't seem to fit the Maverick.

Just my opinion of course...but I feel colors like this remind me of a color that was "Not finished being painted" I like Cactus Grey....but it also has that........ should be one color or the other vibe. Hope I'm explaining it correctly.

Yes it is LIGHT BLUE. Sorry if it means anything else to YOU. Based on your previous post you apparently have a different meaning assigned to it. Color is color, it has not societal or political association unless YOU allow to have it. I notice either you or someone removed your post with the color stripes. To be polite and honest I don't care what anyone has assigned to the color. As an amateur artist if I restricted my colors to the "politically allowed" I would only have white canvasses with nothing on them.

I kind of like that color, there was one 'in transit' to a dealer nearby and I was tempted. But seeing a Bronco Sport in that color in person, I liked the Velocity Blue more.

Gulf liveryon it would make a cool 'throwback' look, though.

I don't hate it, but IMHO they should have just kept eruption green or given us another shade of green, like olive or lime. The Maverick was already available in two different blues (velocity and azure gray)... It didn't need another one.

I've always been curious how the OEMs decide what colors to offer, because sometimes it just seems really illogical.
