$1,200 for a "bigger" screen that I don't watch 'cause I keep my eyes on the road... sounds a lot of #dope for me!
I always drive by myself with no passenger inside

Looks great! When I first got the truck, took my brother for a ride and his first comment was, "Whats that?", when he looked at the hole next to the infoscreen. LMAO, I had no reasonable answer because it is out right stupid. I bought that popular phone mount to plug the hole even though I don't use it.

😁 Well now I know I’m not the only one with a “BEER MONEY” slot.

Does this give you wireless Android Auto? I like a larger screen while still having physical HVAC controls.
I've read in here that you can still use the buttons for the HVAC. You have a choice now.

How does the navigation work? Oem+ says that it is locked down by Ford, and not sure what that means

It depends. If your Maverick came equipped with the factory navigation like my Lariat did, you will not have the ability to use it anymore. I assume it's locked down by Ford because it's their proprietary in-house navigation software and they apply updates to it. If you wanna keep your factory navigation, this unit is not for you.

I can't recall ever using the factory navigation that came with my Maverick, that's why it wasn't a big deal to me. I always use Google Maps or Waze via Android Auto.

But to each their own.
