8 inch CT Sounds Subwoofer Install + Speaker Installs

I found a subwoofer box on Amazon that would fit underneath my rear seat, although I did have to remove the plastic trim that was underneath and make the hole slightly larger to fit my sub, nonetheless I am extremely pleased with the completed build. I used a line output converter to get signal and tapped into the front speakers underneath the kick panels to get the signal, because I’ve been advised the rear signal does not have bass frequencies.I do plan on adding another amplifier from CT sounds either the 80.4d or the 150.4 d to power the 4 kicker CS series speaker I installed in my doors and rear pillars previously

Here are the Speakers I installed, I highly recommend ordering from Crutchfield they provide you with everything you need to install. Even without an amp they still sound amazing. While installing be sure you get the bolt out of the door that is underneath the reflector. And as for the rear be extremely careful removing the speaker housing because there are 2 tabs that can break very easily. I suggest you watch a YouTube video and take a look at the instructions Crutchfield gives you.

I upgraded the back speakers in the pillars and the sound that goes to them is just bad. Unfortunately, I'm only a plug and play person, so wouldn't know how to install an audio processor/amp, so I just fade towards the front.

Yes. There is a "flat eq" setting that needs to be changed in Forscan.

I’m not sure on the B&O, I had the base sound system which I know has a factory EQ to protect those cheap factory speakers they install

So even though its set to flat, the audio to the rear speakers is totally different than what is going to the fronts. I tried the surround setting and it's a lot worse. The rears then sound like an echo. Really bad.

I too have the B&O system. Although there have been many comments in various threads about the inadequacies of the factory speakers, but for the type of music I enjoy, the factory sound is fine. I'm sure when the time comes to replace them, I'll upgrade at that point.

I stopped at the Crutchfield outlet store in Charlottesville many years ago and bought speakers for a previous vehicle.
