Should you buy a (Gen 6) Toyota Rav 4 (plug in) Hybrid?

The GR Sport RAV4 is the “Lobo” of RAV4’s. Sport tuned suspension, brakes, custom body bits etc.

Over 300hp. 0-60 in the high 4’s to low 5’s. Fastest Toyota?

There are several fascinating hybrid technology advancements described in that video. Inquisitive minds would appreciate. You can be assured Ford Engineers (and others) have taken that RAV4 apart for analysis.

I can see my wife getting one. I'm not sure how quick she will get the itch but I'll try and convince her to skip the first year anyway.

Initial quality looks good so this first year. If your wife pulls the trigger now - maybe convince her to sell in 5 years as the warranty nears the end

The GR model in the post is the top end model btw. There are “XL” and “XLT” style trims that compete aggressively against the Maverick in price and features.

Good point. I admit I'm much more of an advocate for hybrid than EV. I don't think it wise to place so much dependence on electric powered vehicles especially as they are often used to promote a political agenda.
