Yet, you did...
And it took nine pages to get political so that ain’t bad.

The upside is it also took nine pages for te anti-maverick people on the forum to Finally see the truth that the price increases have been more than reasonable. Still the best truck for the money out there!

Will prices ever come back naturally just from prices being too high? Just curious.

don't be silly
I mean I know things get higher as more money is economic distributed, but I’m watching squid games and they are playing for like millions/billions. But after I translate it, it’s like 24 million won is 16k lol

brb gotta spend 2000 dollars on a piece of bread. How do countries with insane currency even get that way? I couldn’t imagine counting hundreds of thousands of currency for a month of rent etc

Btw really enjoyed squid games season 1&2 just finished last night

I actually just posted a reply on another thread about this situation, and while I'm not trying to get it political whatsoever, the facts, which don't care about anybody's political opinion, are what they are. The fact is, the truck's price increase has not kept up with inflation, and it is my belief that if Ford had not offered AWD and 4k options on the Maverick, they would have lost more money year-over-year for FY25 model than the FY22 model. I am more than good with the price increases, and I feel like they are doing the best they can do to balance still making a healthy profit for the company and still creating an economy truck in a new world where economy usually means anything sub-$60k.

Edit: Might I add they are also gearing up for having to move Maverick production back to the USA, which for the first year or two will be more costly. Again, just facts, no politics.

My friend and me test drove lariat 24’s yesterday he has a fully loaded f150 and he was like dude this is actually super nice, I said and the 25 is awd hybrid and refresh etc. he was super impressed he thought it would be kinda blah and unimpressive

I said what do you think? 40k it cost

he said dude that’s a steal since he paid like 65k for his, he’s actually thinking grabbing his mom a 25 now. I said when I get it I can lend to her for a weekend to try it out. She has a little civic coupe, I guess this vehicle isn’t much more expensive than coupes and such (loaded ones) anyway

My bare bones tc in 2012 was like 20-22k and todays value would be 32k

maverick 8k more- hybrid, awd, truck kinda, leather, heated seats, wireless CarPlay.

Thats serious value

100%. I find it nuts I have all those, plus more options, riding in my heated seats while someone is in a less-optioned coupe economy car getting less MPG.

They are with some manufacturers ex Stellantis and Tesla. 1st one offers 25% in rebates/incentives/kickback ex Ram1500 for 30k brand new, 2nd just slashed MSRP. Ford hasnt done it yet
