Thanks for all the testing and details! I'm glad to hear the new file is printing accurately and fitting well. I haven't used a bed slinger in a long time but wonder if that might have something to do with the variances you were getting with the .4mm nozzle? Maybe the extra movement of the plate in relation to the head was causing some minor inaccuracies, and in this case minor was a lot since the tolerances are so tight.Status of trying to print the 3d bolt caps. This will probably be my last post so pardon the length.
Went through the entire A1 calibration process including printing the rate of flow calibration coupons. No changes were needed, so the printer was basically in spec.
Decided to print the caps using my Bambu Labs blue basic PLA, but this time using a 0.2 mm nozzle and a 0.1 mm height. The post came out to be 3.12 mm, but the outside diameter came out to be 12.7 mm instead of the as drawn 13.0 mm. These caps fit allen head bolts perfectly. Nice and tight to the point the had to be pried off.
So I printed the caps with the SUNLU orange PLA using the 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.1 mm layer height. Post came out to be 3.2 mm and the outside diameter came out to be 12.8 mm. These caps also fit, but a little tighter. So the SUNLU profile needs to have its shrinkage profile adjusted.
I then printed your new *.3MF file using the 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.1 layer height using Bambu Lab black PLA. The post came out to 3.09 mm with a 12.8 mm outside diameter. The SUNLU orange PLA was used to print the new *.3mf file with the 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.1 mm layer height. The post was 3.08 mm and outside dimension was 12.8mm. This also fit really well.
I then printed the caps with a white PETG that I had on the printer. Not sure the brand. The post came out 3.05 mm and an outside diameter at 12.8 mm. These also fit great.
So your new *.3mf file worked great for me. I had too much variation using the .4 mm nozzle, but the .2 mm nozzle worked great on a variety of plastics.
