25 production start date 11/11?

Tracking my 25 Maverick and today it shows in production. In no hurry and didn't expect to see it this year but maybe arrives sooner than I thought?

I'm thinking that the 25s will be held for a while.... they won't ship until 25 Mavericks are marked "ok to buy".
I'm suspecting that early built 25 Mavericks will sit for about 6 weeks before they ship...but we'll see.... who knows what Ford will actually do!

Agree about the "hold" and thats ok. I didn't really want one of the first ones out the gate but since the MY 25 changes are pretty much cosmetic I doubt there will be issues.

Actually, according to our local guru Tim the video guy, Ford has not actually started production yet. In production has several steps before the Mav is actually in the production line.

My 11/11 build week was just delayed to 11/18 build week. I have ordered a XLT, EB FX4 in Space White

I'm a retired autoworker, including several years in assembly of Corvettes in Bowling Green, Kentucky. A vehicle wasn't considered in production until it had actually started down the line.

First week is still 11/11.
All ‘In production’ means is that your order was sent to the plant. Now the plant will spend next week coordinating the parts needed to do your build. Like getting the proper colored body, etc.

Most parts are already coordinated when they're delivered to the plant. Assembly plants don't "store" parts in the assembly area. Parts are delivered the day of assembly. Assembly lines are restocked several times each shift.
