'23 maverick interior

Sounds like you did not research the vehicle very well. I researched the hell out of this truck, and every other vehicle I buy, I was very aware of the color schemes in all trims. If I watched one online video, I watched a hundred of them.

Yep. The orange accents in the XLT put me off in the research process, and the faux blue/brown leather seats in the Lariat were a big nope as well. I like function over anything else, so the XL worked best for me. No regrets there. Not having scratching issues with the plastic, either, probably because my rat terrier is typically pretty subdued in the Maverick and isn't scratching up the interior. I guess my only complaint is having a dog who isn't keen on car rides. Anyone else have a dog like this?

Howdy, when I go to the Ford site and build a Lariat with BAP I see this picture with lots of blue.. Console, lower dash/glove box door, all seat bases, etc.. Perhaps you landed on the wrong picture??

I'll be satisfied if my mav interior looks no bluer than the interior in these photos. I did notice the blue in the plastic more in the XLT BAP photos. Is there really a difference in plastic color between XLT and Lariat, or are the pictures just touched up? I would not like it if it's the latter. Hopefully, Ford put more carbon black in with the plastic pellets for the Lariat molded parts instead of just using the same parts interchangeably between trims. The interior is one of the reasons I went with the Lariat.

I never paid too much attention when I checked the BAP box. Noticed right away when taking delivery, the blue hue. Oh well could have been worse. When I'm driving eyes are focused on the road, so I never really see it. When in the house doors are closed so I don't see it then.

If I was really concerned would have bought something in the 50k range I could have done the matchy matchy thing. But the Maverick is a entry level vehicle. I'm happy..

Things have really changed when you start talking about vehicles being "entry level."

So my '23 blacked out mav arrived saturday. Never got to even get in one before then. So why is my "all black" mav outfitted with some gross blueish ugly interior? Is that all they offer? I mean it looks horrible inside

If you don’t like it, don’t accept it. I know dealerships LOVE when a custom maverick isn’t accepted by the customer because they turn around, mark up the price, and sell it within a few days. It’s how I got mine as I’m still waiting for a confirmation that Ford even accepted my original maverick build orders.

I bought the Pinto when it first came out in 1971. Starting MSRP was $1919. I added AM/FM and auto tranny, $2100.

I for one like the interior colors of the BAP in my lariat. Everything blends well in my opinion.

I agree with the sentiments of some here that Ford should've offered a more than one option for the interior colors. Orange accents and the blue color isn't everybody's cup of tea.

I had mixed feelings on the orange accents initially, but they actually kind of grew on me! At some point, I just kind of went with it and lost control! I also had Katzkin leather seats installed.

Unfortunately I was unable to see it before hand. No one had one you could get into. And there was no mention of ugly blue in the triple black kit the dealer sold me. The worste part is that for '24 you get black interior.

I asked all sorts of questions last month when ordering my 24 xlt, even after I read all the features and options. Did you not get to sit down with the sales man?

For the interior, I figure if I don't like the interior, I'm going with all weather floor mats that pretty much cover the carpet, probably pick up some interior trim pieces for the console, dash, and other areas with high Amazon reviews. I will probably also pick up some nice leather type seat covers.

Exterior, I will get a 3 panel tonou cover and I get my bed liner sprayed in. I did consider getting an upgraded grill off of Amazon also but I'm not committed to that yet because I haven't watched enough YouTube videos on switching it out.

I felt the same way. So I changed my Truck outside color to Area 51 with the BAP. So the outside now works with the doors and dash on the inside. Actual looks very good. I am happy
