I am currently on the fence between the '25 and the '24. I have a '24 Lariat Ecoboost(4k Tow) on order that is 100% my desired spec. However, despite the appearance issues with the '25, I am tempted due to 2 factors:

  • The 360 Camera
  • Co-Pilot 2.0

(I'd love to have the Tow/Trailer Assist, but it's not needed so I'm not really factoring that in.)

Can anyone with these features on other Ford vehicles enlighten me on their quality, and if I should even consider passing up the 24 for them?

I'd love to get my Maverick before next year, but if these features are worth it I would consider biting the bullet.

If it was me, I'd wait for the 25'. The screen, 360 camera, Pro trailering and better color options make it worth it for me.

If you don't have the 24 yet, I'd just get the 25. The screen and wireless car play is enough for me.

To be completely honest, I'm playing with the idea of down grading from a 24 Lariat to a 25 XLT to get the features that work best for me and none of the extra that isn't bettering my experience.

I would get the 25...sync 4, bigger screen, tow backup assist, Eruption Green color, new interior color and 360 camera.

More HP 24. Better climate controls. Better colors. Not ugly Front.
Owners love their existing Mavericks without the features on the 25.
Go 24.
And I have zero use for the bigger screen..

I think a lot of people are struggling with this choice. I don't have a Maverick yet I was going to order one this year but I was waiting for the 25s to see what they would bring. For me it's :
1) on the plus side I do like the bigger screen and I really like the ability to get AWD and IRS with the hybrid. But.....
2) I don't like the new front end, although I will try to wait until I see it in person to fully judge, and I don't like losing the physical HVAC controls to the larger screen

We have a ‘23 Escape which has the 13” screen and 360° camera.

After having that screen, the 8” looks small. The flow of the screen’s content is better as well.

Wireless CarPlay is great. After plugging in for many years, surprised how much I like wireless connection.

The only downside to HVAC on touch screen is the Max AC is not a one click. Otherwise, have no issues with it.

One nice thing about 360° is the front camera. When pulling into a spot, you can flip that on and park much easier.

I couldn’t wait to get those features and upgrade my ‘22.

My ‘22 already has all the co-pilot stuff. ACC is great.

I too do not need Pro Trailer stuff, so I ordered now.

If you can wait, I’d get a ‘25. Besides the features, you will a model year newer for your next trade-in, and only have to wait a few months to have that.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I hardly ever touch my HVAC controls. Once I learned to use the auto climate control, all I do is set it at the desired temp and forget it. The newer screen would be a nice thing to have.

I'm the same. Throw it in auto, and slightly adjust temp every once and a while.

If it's something you never had in the first place, you wouldn't miss it. My 23 maverick is the first vehicle I've ever owned with a backup camera. it is convenient, but I made it 64 years without one.
