Does your Tremor Growl when you put the motion lotion to it ?

I’ve heard a few of those super expensive exhaust upgrades. And only a few of the many sound badass,
For a 4 Banger.
My 2024 Eco Lariat didn’t Growl at all.
It sounded like rice, little Japanese cars.
My 2026 Tremor sounds like it has one of the proper sounding aftermarket exhaust systems.

Thor Growls like my Dog.

Definitely NOT complaining.

Pepper had the same exhaust pipes & muffler as your Tremor - except the Tremor has a slightly different bend over the RDU.

However, Pepper did not have the Electronic Sound Enhancement (ESE) that your Tremor has. Frankly, I think you’re starting to get on Pepper’s nerves.

I did not know this on the new Tremor! lol my 2024 Tremor has none of this. Had to Google it. Oh the paddle shifters too! Lobo an Tremor 25/26'

Google
It might sound ridiculous, but yes—it is literally radio exhaust sounds. Ford uses a system called Active Noise Control (ANC) / Engine Sound Enhancement.

The truck's computer reads your throttle input and engine load, then plays a synchronized, artificially deepened 'growl' through your audio speakers inside the cabin. It’s designed to trick your brain into thinking the 4-cylinder engine sounds like a sporty, deep V6 or V8 under heavy acceleration.

If you roll the windows down and have someone stand on the sidewalk while you pass them at full throttle, they won't hear any 'growl' at all. They will just hear a standard, ultra-quiet, stock 4-cylinder EcoBoost whirring past. The magic exhaust note stops the second you turn off the radio.

At least on the 23 and 24 Tremors, normal mode has no sound enhancement . You have to go to mud or sand or some other goat mode. Maybe the 25 up does it all the time?

The Lobo only uses the enhanced sound in Sport & Lobo modes. I think is Tremor is Sport & Off Road modes.

Won’t even hear it unless you give it the beans. Even then - it is barely noticeable.

It does track with the rpm’s exactly though. You can paddle shift based on the sound like a traditional sequential manual. No clutch pedal boo hoo. Clutch pedal is overrated anyway.

My radio volume stays off. The enhanced sound is not affected by the volume knob (unfortunately):)

It does not sound like a V8 or V6 lol. Even more subtle than 2.3l 4 banger Ecoboost Mustang’s.

“Auto tuned” to sound like a 4 banger Maverick with a performance exhaust. Not lipstick on a pig - more like makeup done well:)

I’ve never used anything but tow mode, so that’s good to know. As far as a clutch pedal being overrated, I’ll have to disagree, as long as it’s in a vehicle meant for it lol

A recording is not the same as hearing it live in the truck.

Music on the radio is “fake” sound - much better sounding when it is live. That’s why I don’t to music in my truck - just live sounds for me:)

The Maverick’s electronically enhanced engine sounds are actively calculated and generated in real-time based directly on the vehicle's operation. They are not random, looping recordings. It is “live”.

The technology involved to generate the live “engine sound” would amaze any 1970’s era Progressive Rock keyboard player. Blow their mind.
