My 2025 Hybrid Lariat AWD has a similar problem when I do Remote Start. When I get in the car the heat is on and heated steering wheel and heated seats, no matter what settings I have selected in the Vehicle Settings “Remote Start Setup” menus. Anyone else having this issue?

Have a new XLT here with HVAC also turning on when Auto is set to off. Headlights always default to Auto as well. It would be nice to have things stay where they were when the truck was turned off but maybe that's not an option based on replies above and other online searches. Has anyone found a way to set these things up to stay the way they want?
I have the same problem. My remote start is OFF in Settings, I've never used it, I live in a mild climate so I generally keep the A/C off and the HVAC in manual mode. Many times when I start the Maverick the A/C is on and one of the first things I do is turn it back off. I've also noticed that the vent settings (defrost, middle, floor) magically change from where I had them set. I wonder if the problem is just that I am too old school and I expect to control things like A/C myself? Should I just set it to Auto and not think about it? Comments?

Nothing has changed on my truck from my earlier post but the vent setting is one thing that does stay where it was at. It's been so hot here in SC lately that I just let the AC default to on but I'll likely turn it to auto next time I head out and see how that goes for awhile. Overall I'm used to how things work after 3 months so it doesn't aggravate me. It would still be nice to be able to customize some settings and behaviors that are currently locked in (without having to get into Forscan) so will just live with it for now. Still love the truck after 3 months and just over 2000 miles, with no regrets.

Hmmmm - maybe the 25MY needs the ACCM software update too!

Anyone that has left your fan or AC on with truck turnoff, ever gone back out to truck after 30-60 min to see if a cooling fan is still running?
