Greetings all!

In November, 2023, my baby, a 2023 XLT in Atlas Blue (still pictured) was destroyed viciously and without mercy over the span of approximately four and a half seconds. I vowed to reorder a 2024, but when I saw rumors of a refresh for '25, I decided to wait for the '25 order banks to open. Today is that day.

I'm working an off-shift today (I'm kinda my own boss at the moment) so that I can be at the dealer with the '25 order guide at 9 am eastern. I'm about to go eat breakfast first at 6:30.

Once at the dealer, I will be ordering:

Lariat Hybrid AWD in Vel. Blue, console safe, folding t. bed cover, tailgate lock, 4k tow package.

I'm going to go do that now, and I will report here on status updates, including when the truck is allocated, built, delivered, and I take delivery with photos!
Then, hopefully, I will begin documenting awesome adventures over time that will last far longer than simply January to November! I'm super excited!

I also hope over time to modify things that need modifying and document that here as well.

The new appearance doesn't bother me in the least, although I'm a little disappointed I cannot order Atlas Blue simply due to it being the color of the '23.

Finally, in closing, I'm super grateful and excited to have this community to report to over the literally best vehicle designed new from scratch by Ford in many years. You guys were so super supportive when my '23 died and showed genuine concern, and for that I'm grateful.

Farwell until my update after I've ordered!

I ordered my truck as described at 9:36 AM, 36 minutes after the dealer opened. At 6:30 while eating breakfast, I checked ford.com one more time to make sure the build wasn't live, and I went into the dealer with the order guide in hand.

The salesman was shocked I had the order guide and said it would work, but he checked the website one more time, and the builder was live! So, we built my truck and I paid $1,000 to order it. I asked for the list of vehicles the dealer would 'mark up' to 'fair market value' upon order, and he stated it would be on the agreement I sign prior to paying, and that the Maverick was not included.

I verified this before signing the agreement/policy. It states the following vehicles are subject to 'fair market value post-delivery adjustment':

Any all-electric vehicles
Any Bronco model
The 2025 Mustang Dark Horse
Any Raptor
Any Shelby GT500
Any Mach I
Any Transit model

Apparently, this list varies per dealer and it's entirely up to the sales manager/owner which vehicles, if any or all, to mark up. It also is left up to their discretion to make an exception for particular customers, also.

I only added all this because I had been curious seeing others' horror stories and had never experienced this at my dealer. As it turns out, I've never bought a vehicle at this dealer that was on their 'adjustment' short list.

Anyway, he said I'd get emails with product updates as it is being built, when the VIN is generated, etc. and I got my truck ordered.

2025 Ford Maverick Lariat in Velocity Blue with options.

Final price as ordered in Georgia:

MSRP: $36,735
Options: $2,510
Destination: $1,595
Sub-total: $40,840
Taxes: $2,858.80
Fees: $829.25

Total: $44,528.05

Has anyone recieved a email confirmation on their order? I ordered yesterday:

Lariat Hybrid AWD
Azure Grey Metallic
4k Tow Package

and I have a order sheet from the dealer, however the order sheet says "This has not been sent to the order bank" on the bottom. Im guessing there is someone at the dealership that has to actually process it? Hopefully I get something today.

Very excited though!

I didn't get that sheet. I have not received an email at this time.

So, I'm seeing a lot of people's signatures from 2022 and 2023, and a lot of folks didn't have their order 'confirmed' for a couple of weeks on average. I assume by 'confirmed', they mean an email? 🤷‍♂️

Nope. I ordered a 2022 on 1/14/22 at 2:32 PM and got a confirmation email at 3:29 PM.

And then when I ordered a 2023 (in September of 2022), I got my confirmation email on 9/16 at about 1:20 AM Pacific Time, which was about.....6 hours after my order was submitted in the evening of 9/15?

I don't know about 2024, since I did not order a 2024.

I ordered about the same thing! ‘25 Lariat hybrid AWD w/ towing. I got confirmation email 08/08 stating I’d get an email within 45 days with updates on my order. I’m still waiting though…

Alrighty! I finally got an order update email that reads as follows:

"Rjay, the build date of your vehicle has been scheduled.

Order ID: K102

Your VIN: 3FTTW8S35SRA-----

Exciting times ahead! The production of your 2025 Maverick Lariat vehicle is slated to begin the week of November 11, 2024. Keep in mind that schedules can shift, but you can count on us to keep you informed about any potential changes. Follow the link below to track your order and use your VIN to download your detailed window sticker.

You'll also receive an email when your vehicle ships to [Dealer] in [Georgia] with an estimate for when your vehicle is ready for pickup."

I'm so excited!

I also just realized, I ordered my original Maverick August 2nd, and ordered the new one August 1st. I had my first Maverick totaled on November 11, 2023, and this one is scheduled to be built on November 11, 2024. Wow.

Well, already a change, and they didn't let me know. I found out when I manually entered my customer information into their product tracker. The build week is now estimated to be December 2nd, 2024, and it has been assigned to a plant. Ford has been rather lacking in emails throughout this, in my opinion.

Don't depend on Ford's emails...rarely they send out timely emails.

It is true. I have been plugging the order number + VIN into their order tracker repeatedly, and it does show it began being built on Monday, December 2, 2024. I never received an email.

I am very happy! I hope their delivery estimate is real! Week of 01/02/2024. I am so excited. Time to list my temporary vehicle for sale.
