I like that the 2025 xlt hybrid does not have any badging on it ,it may be a Ford cost savings but it saved me time as I only had to remove dealer sticker. looks better for me

You’re not completely de-badged until you install the functional side air vents:)

Still has the stamped MAVERICK advertising on the tailgate, and the FORD emblems on grill and tailgate. I'm working on deletes for all of that nonsense.

I agree, glad badge is gone. I wondered why the was no "XLT Hybrid" on the truck. Since I will never use the dealer I bought from again, it is now "AL Ford" instead of Tomball.

I bought blacked-out Ford emblems to "debadge" mine because I have a black truck.

How are you going about removing the embossed maverick lettering on the tailgate? I'd love to do that.

I'm assuming body filler?

Sounds like my dealer up here. I disliked my experience with them so much, while I had the temporary paper plate on, I turned the dealer-provided plate frame around backwards so you couldn't read their name. :D

A little bondo to fill the letters in, is that the plan? Emblems are easy, black plasty dip.

I'm probably going to make a stainless plate cover for the tailgate lettering since I can't seem to find one available from an aftermarket parts company. Usually there are generic or otherwise different replacements for the Ford badge for the grill, assuming it's the same size as the F150 et al. The one on the tailgate might be tricky cuz it has the camera there.

covered with a sheet of stainless or aluminum that matches body stamping. And if it's shiney, it might deter people from driving behind me with their brights on!

Ha ha ha… The dealer sticker disappeared as soon as my 2025 XLT made it home too!
We just specify as part of our new vehicle purchases that no dealer badging or license plate frames be put on the vehicle. But those have been new vehicle orders and not dealer stock purchases where the dealer badge/decal may have already been put on the vehicle during dealer prep/acceptance for lot stock vehicles.

That would be more work and less visually appealing than body filler sanding and painting, no? I'm trying to decide which route to take when I do it in the future.
