I’ve noticed a few times when trying to push the back button to change stations, it will move forward instead.
The plastic front is all one big button, so it registers incorrectly on occasion

I love the interior of the 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid and especially the controls that are very intuitive and a beautiful design hopefully this is the future of all vehicles

I only use 2 of the buttons, the volume/off and the break hold. The radio buttons are useless to me, as is the max button. The camera button isn't much help and the flasher will see very limited use. other than that, I love it?

Anyone else find this instrument panel cheaply done and a bit of a nuisance?

cheaply done? I don't think so, it is simple and clean, does the job, I don't want to pay for glitter and what some gucci or prada designer did, it's not going to make the vehicle more reliable or functional.

I'm not asking for glitz, just prefer individual buttons for each, not when I press the one the entire pad moves.

To be honest, the only button I use is the volume button. I change the radio using either the steering wheel or the touchscreen. And I haven't had to use the max defrost yet because it's summer. If I need to, I probably will use the touchscreen for that as well.

I've had that happen to me several times as well.

Yes I do. Looks like the start s stop button was an afterthought and just plugged in.
True. But at least it doesn't have to be used anymore after starting. I'd hate to have to fumble for a switch in that location while driving
