2025 - Climate Bar Sync4 add recirculation

I saw in some videos that some 2025 Mavericks have a recirculation button in the Climate Bar. Mine doesn't, does anyone have a coding for this?

If someone that have the recirculation button could share your APIM asbuilt.

Lariat = dual zone climate controls = no recirculation button because there's no room for it (the passenger temperature control takes its place)
Only XL and XLT have it

PS to find the recirculation button, open the HVAC menu (button between AUTO and MAX DEFROST) and it's there.

Just another case of the touch screen buttons being hidden within a menu, not as straight forward as we all thought.
Added: Usually, when I want the recirc, I want it quick. Like someone mowing or kicking up a bunch of dust ahead, a garbage truck pulls out up ahead, or a diesel rolling coal. I don't want to go in a menu, this should be on the steering wheel.

Exactly my case, recirculation is more important than defrost for example... but I believe this is not configurable, unfortunately.

Well as a counterpoint, I've used recirculation maybe 3 times over decades of use in any of my cars. But I agree they could have put something else than Max defrost which is already a hard button

At least in Brazil, sometimes you are in a highway, some old truck spitting smoke down the road, not counting the brush fires in the dry part of the year, I use quite a lot, for a small period of time, but it is really useful.

Wow, so am the only one who uses recirculate when my air is set on 75 and the outside air temp is 100??? How about when outside air temp is -10?? Sure, I let fresh air in once in a while but does it not make the air conditioner work harder to not use it. Does it affect gas mileage??

Well, same here. I think recirculate helps mileage, but to be honest, practically nothing.. LOL

I'm betting that the 25 is like the 24 - when I push the AC button the Recirc is auto-enabled.

But for you to confirm - sounds like you'll need to dig into the menu to see if it is already.

But ditto to any non-AC time that recirc would be great by itself.
Always have used it with old cars oil burning, trash truck, farm animal trailer, and 1st whiff of skunk though usually too late then.

I guess for 25 fast action, if AC does auto-enable recirc too - just hit the AC button then.

I use recirculate when needed, in situations like you mention. But most of the time I like having fresh outside air mixed in. It's really just a preference thing IMO.

I use the recirculation when I see that dead skunk in the road. My AC defaults to recirculation when turned on. I have to manually turn it off.
