Really like the stance with those tires! Just bought my Mav and first mods will be a lift and tires and rims. Can you share the tire size and rim offset? Im planing the leveling kit right now thats 1.5 up front and .9 rear

Finally got my suspension installed, 2” lift with overload springs and damper adjustable shocks (Flatout GR Lite) and Tmbren Jouncers.

Ride quality is excellent, just a little firmer that stock, tight handling, feels great!

Before adding the lift, I was arse down a couple inches with a full bike rack, now it sits even rear to front when loaded.

Oru camper works great, mattress is an RV Queen, lots of room popped up, had to swap to stronger struts once I added solar and paddle boards.

In the bed I built cabinets over the wheelwells, storage and water on the drivers side, lithium battery and diesel heater on the passenger side.

The base camper is #350, the rack and swingaway add 75#, solar is another 50# with cross bars, bikes and SUPs add 200#.

I like it better than the Scout Tuktut, more head space, bigger mattress, half the price, and I can park in the garage 👍

That's a killer rig. What's your average MPG with that load and wind drag? Based on my towing nearly 4k, sometimes the MPG hit and strain make it much wiser and financial sense to just use my F250 gasser as it does not care much about 4k lbs.

Yup, little motors work harder so mpg takes a hit.

We live out of town 25 miles , so the truck is a commuter at highway speeds, lots of hills, so with wind drag I average ~ 24mpg

I expect the addition of an air dam to add a couple mpg.

My Jeep Gladlator with a Scout Tuktut camper averaged 12 mpg, so it’s all relative.

I think the Maverick Hybrid is best suited to local driving at lower speeds, so not ideal for what we do, but I like the truck just fine.

Nice setup!! I was interested in getting an ORU until I saw how high above the cab they build it, why on earth did they do that!?!?
Agreed, what an aero trap that gap is.

You know what they say about six inches ...

So yeah, dropping the camper six inches would make it tight for head room, and you'd still need an air dam.

The reason the gap "seems" so large is the cab height is so short.

I'll take head room over aesthetics, but if I was into looks I'd get a color matched shell and pull a camper.

It's nice to have choices (y)

Colorado Air Dam mounted, used a simple L track and T bolts, riveted and bonded with silkaflex, much quieter, mpg up to ~ 26 mpg freeway, 28+ in town.

It’s still less than I’d hoped, but it beats anything else I’ve built for camping including a Promaster Diesel 118.

The more I drive it, the better I like it: super comfy, pop top with a queen 6” mattress is the cat’s meow, and the all wheel drive is at least as good as a RAV 4 or Subaru.

Granted, it’s not really an over lander, but if I have that in mind I’ll take the wife’s Jeep Wrangler 😆

Next up: increase lift 1” front/1.5” rear, it’s currently sitting at stock. The lift kit has adjustable spring perches, so you can add lift up to 2.5” with the same set of springs.

I decided to increase the lift on the rear; the front looks fine The rear spring perches were set by the shop at +10mm. I used paired spring compressors and increased the lift to +40mm, this put me at ~20mm higher than the front unloaded.

Rides really well, I’ve got ~ 20mm clearance
from the Timbren jouncers, so no issues if I do “overload”, but with a full camp set up and four bikes I’m running level 👍

I like to think of her as a Maverick “Raptor”

I went to get a realignment and the technician said the front right strut base was bent. He was able to get it to align, but it’s “maxed out”.

The vehicle has 11k on the odometer, 3k since adding the new suspension, not taken off-road, no curb shots, or accidents.

I messaged Far Out Suspension, waiting on their response.

I’ll post more details as I get them.

It all worked out, the struts weren’t set up correctly, the bent strut was an optical illusion 🙄

I reset the front spring perches, works fine now 👍
