Picked up my Eruption Green AWD Hybrid Mav last month. Thought I'd detail modifications. Many were done after research on this site.
RealTruck Retrax RetraxPRO XR Retractable Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | T-80337
I wanted retractable aluminum slats. Pricey but sturdy. Has 'spiral' retraction unit that takes up a little more space but should keep the slats from rubbing against each other and showing wear. Still has 11" of storage underneath. doesn't automatically retract but has roller bearings so it slides very easily. Easy to install. Assembled it up in the bed of the truck and didn't require a helper. Auxpacbo 800# Adjustable bed rack.

Keeps that pesky cavity by the muffler clean and dry from mud and snow. Easy to install. I didn't remove the rubber muffler hanger after struggling with it awhile and was able to install the cover easily.

Mabett mud flaps
Easy to install. I wanted something more flexible and not molded to help keep snow from building up on them. Drivers side rear has a gap that would send mud and snow in the cavity near the muffler if you don't have the above cavity shield cover. I also added a plastic sheet (old dish drying pan). Bought with Ford points. Thought it had front and rear cameras but front only. Interesting wiring though. You plug it into the OBDII. It still has an OBDII receptacle. I might replace it with a dual camera or not but I can use the wiring for a Homelink replacement mirror. A work in progress. The Kia mirrors mention on various treads are all out of stock. But I might have an alternative but want to make sure it fits before mentioning specifics.

I took the Thule Aero bars off my Subaru and will buy the parts necessary to mount it on the Maverick.
Trickle Battery Charger port
Installed a Battery Tender type of port to trickle charge the 12V battery. See pic.
