So I just changed the cabin filter on both my 24 Maverick Hybrid Lariat and my 24 Bronco Sport Outerbanks. I googled the videos to see if there was anything i needed to pay attention to and its easy as all get out. Now I did the wifes bronco first and her bronco was exactly like the guys in the video, there was a small plastic piston on the right side i had to squeeze to get it to pop off.
Now when I did mine in my Maverick i opened my glove box. No plastic piston. Is this something where Ford put them on the earlier models but decided nah they really dont need this anymore? I noticed the squeeze part is molded in, just no piston. Any one with a 24 have a piston? I bought my Black Betty brand new. My wifes Ezzy was bought brand new.
