Go find that thread that is commented on above - you'll find readings given of the low battery V & A that still allowed truck to start (which allows what you are desiring - recharging from HVB), also what values were too low to start.Does anyone know how many Amps you need to supply to close the circuit and engage the hybrid battery for 12v recharging? I'm just wondering if something like that side install can properly handle the current necessary for a "jump."
@DadsLariat - the system starts turning off everything else per design in order to leave enough to start. Not an issue, per design.
That same thread will help determine if there is another underlying issue though.
