I talked to my Dealer this morning and was told my 2023 XLT Hybrid lux order is getting rolled over to a 2024. Apparently 2024s are available in Canada now as of today. I'll hopefully find out how much more a 2024 will cost. The dealership did not know yet if there will be any type of private offer in Canada. Time will tell.

My dealer told me no private offers in Canada. My XLT hybrid lux order is $4,700 more than the 2023, even with the major factory-deleted features and me deleting $1k of extras. Its definitely not a cheap truck anymore, and the Lariat is now about the same price as the much better equipped and finished Santa Cruz.

Dave,

People who ordered at 2023 prices get a private price offer from Ford. It's known as price protection but only the base price is protected. Upgrades are charged at current pricing but fortunately, most option prices stayed the same.

My recent video shows the Lariat is now the best deal at just $3395 more than an XLT. At the end, I list 18 Lariat upgrades you cannot get on an XLT, like adaptive cruise and B&O sound.

$3395/18 = $188 per upgrade. It would cost a lot more to change out the XLT sound system, which only has speakers rated at 25 watts.

I was the first Customer in the door at my dealership on July 17th when the my24 rollover was supposed to happen. I talked to my dealer yesterday when the Canadian order bank actually opened, to go back and sign the paperwork for my my23-to-my24 replacement for my unbuilt order. He stated that there are no private offers in Canada, so I'm going to be stuck with a ridiculous $4700 increase on a reduced-functionality XLT purchase. He said to blame Ford Canada, not me.

Your best bet is to pick up a 2023 then, seems more are coming up as customers don't take their orders with increased interest rates and I've seen a more steady flow of new hybrids showing up at dealers lately.

After 16 months I have no faith in my dealer or Ford, my '23 order is already $3k+ over the '22 I originally ordered and I will not be rolling my order over to a '24. Either I'm finding a customer dropout or I'm done.

My XLT Hybrid Lux with Rollup Tonneau cover order increased $4600 from 2023 to 2024 on my rollover. My Dealer knows nothing about any private offer from Ford Canada. The US market 23 roll over orders will get a private offer. The fact that Canada customers do not, seems highly unethical on Ford of Canada's part.

Canada build and price is live on the website now. I submitted my build and got an email from dealer saying they would contact me within 4hrs.
I'll keep updating as I get more info.

P.S. I did notice that Canadians now have to pay 250$ for the block heater.

Ford made a mistake the first 2 years by pricing the hybrid system at a loss. Now they are following other manufacturers and charging $1,500 which is upsetting some customers.

Still waiting for dealer response.
Ford should just go the Tesla route and let ppl order online.... I've never had a good ford dealer experience with 3 different vehicles over a decade.
Automated email saying they're going to call you within 4 business hours is a lie.
As usual I will keep updating whenever I can.
If the Toyota stout was out I wouldn't hesitate to switch brands.

this is no longer an affordable truck for Canadians
i got my 22 xlt with lux package with x plan discount and I think with taxes and everything all in was $37,500ish and i put 5k down to finance 32k @ 60 months at 3.49% = $279 b/w, current balance is 26,xxx

the hybrid xlt is STARTING at 36,200

the lux packge: took away leather, get vinyl wrapped steering wheel
took away spray in bedliner, gives drop in
removed wiper de-icer and keypad entry
removed tie down locking rails with the 2 sliding tie down points

the 'same' build (minus the above) with tax is now $41,664
with 60m finance @ a whopping 8.49% and 5k down, payments are $394 b/w = $115 extra x 26 payments = $2,990/year x 5 years = $14,950

why would anyone pay $800+/month for a maverick? o_O

Phenomenal how Ford Canada refuses to communicate with customers. Canadian Maverick buyers are in the dark, but don’t feel too bad so are the dealers. I have an October 2022 submitted order for a ‘23 unfulfilled. Just convinced dealer today to get ‘24 order in. Is there a private offer in Canada? Who would know! Contacted ford chat to check if priority code was at 2 with a rollover order. They don’t know what a priority code is. What a frustrating system.

Got tired of waiting so called my dealership ... They told me no allocations that's why they didn't call me .... Just plain fed up with ford service. Seems they don't want my business.

It can certainly be frustrating while attempting to get any important information from Ford Canada.
Information that is common knowledge in the US is met with a big DUH? at Canadian Dealerships. Stuff like when order banks open, changes to new model years, how to get your unscheduled 23 to 24 rollover done etc, and the fact that no one at Ford Canada has any idea if or when there will be a private offer for unscheduled 23 roll overs. Being a present Ford customer, I find this information to be quite important, and it's mind boggling to me that Ford Canada does not.
