My dealer (Brown Bros Ford) in Vancouver has been very vague about the resubmission/ cue priority for my 2022 order becoming a 2023. I am sure they aren’t being provided much info from Ford corporate, but I am having a tough time not jumping ship. They can’t give me any reassurance that my place in the cue and my 10 month (so far) wait will be recognized, or anything about the “special offer” pricing for those of us who waited an extra model year. They may be right that in Canada it depends on dealer allocations etc, but I am very curious what is happening to my Oct order XL Hybrid with Copilot 360.

Can anyone confirm if we need the COVP, and how to confirm the custom customer order was properly submitted? They say I will be moved to 2023 but no clue on timing or how many orders internally at their dealer are ahead of me. I have been very dissatisfied lately with their answers.

Thanks!

Best as I can tell the system in Canada, at least in terms of placing an order, was the same as the US. My Window Sticker had all the same stuff as the US Special orders. Price and interest rate protection was the same as the US as well. I assume rollovers will work the same way. Since I got my Maverick last month, I cannot give you any help with anything else. My guess is, since everything else Ford Canada has done is a big secret, that the dealers don't know much. The general impression I got was that I got my truck earlier because I didn't get 360.

My guess is you won't hear much from the dealer. I didn't hear a peep from them from the day I ordered until I got notified it was loaded on a train, and then 31 days later when it arrived at the dealer (DAMS Ford/Lincoln).

Canada gets the shaft on this one, when we ordered our Bronco sport, we had some good info through the reservation system, from the reservation, order, production etc, all through the fordpass app too.... Ordering the Mav though, the dealership is more in the dark and doesn't know anything till they get the scheduling notification. Very different than the BS where the USA is more like how our BS order went....
Sucks, still waiting myself...

We ordered in June a Lariat lux, FX4, 4K tow, moonroof. The whole works. Told 3-5 months. Now told lucky to get it in a year. We kept our order (which we like you have no real idea if was actually placed) but will take possession of a new BS Badlands in two weeks when it are at the dealership. Winter is coming and we sold the Xterra. Honda Civic won’t cut it in rural Nova Scotia.

@Ford Motor Company what should us Canadians who have been waiting nearly a year do when it comes to our dealer saying we need to reorder for 2023? Can you help us understand if our place in the general cue will be upheld? Or our 2022 price somehow kept? Thank you!
