Beleiveing those display temereatures are accurate measurments is hilarious no point in even using temp figures just do a zero to 30 or whatever the spread is cause I would bet my ass they arent the correct temp. Also sounds like a form of digitally distracted driving, they took it away for insurance cost reduction. Not to mention hefty fines.
It's just a desired temp and I think mainly works for auto climate. Ie the climate control will try to maintain XX degree you set it to.

This happened on the maverick, BS, daddy bronco and the f150. It's a cut back on chipset demands.

Signature checks out . This is very believable. Sad, but believable.

Makes sense since it seems like they stopped using them in May, but disappointing nonetheless. I probably would have paid a bit extra to get it in the Mav, but not the end of the world.

Do you have confirmation of this? Seems a bit extreme since many cars on the market have a small digital display for climate control. Not to mention the large 8 inch touchscreen very near to the driver's field of view would eclipse any distraction from a small number display low on the console.
Yes:rolleyes:

Only 3 left in the world and 350 bucks. Well, I guess I will be able to survive without that.

I don't have display on the knobs on my June built 22 Lariat. Ford probably ran out of parts back then. It's a bit inconvenient to check the set temperatures but it's not a big deal either. Just need to turn the knobs to show the temperatures on the screen.
If it shows the temperature settings on the screen, I'm fine with that.

Looking at the new build and price for 2023MY, it looks like Ford officially removed the digital display knobs for the dual-zone climate control. Shame because this was one of the features I was looking forward to, and felt it for the 2022 folks who got bait-and-switched.

Guessing the temp readouts will be on the display like most 2022s, only on certain screens.
Mine has both. It was built in Mar '22.

This sounds a little silly to me in a day and age when some of the most basic vehicles have a ton of information at their disposal to look at. This is purely cost cutting and supplier availability. When the supply chain/inflation silliness goes away those digital readout dials will return.

Ford is adding the display back to 2023 Bronco. It's at least possible the feature may return at some point to Maverick.

I really like my MY22 XL temperature display on the knob and will miss it on my MY23 XLT if it is removed. As far as being displayed on the infotainment screen, that should never be an issue knowing how robust it is made, right?
