2023 Mav's Hybrid fire recall?

I contacted Ford yesterday about this. As I haven't heard a thing, and the recall still says remedy expected October 2023.

I was told "Software to support FSA 23S27 is still under development and testing. The revised dealer bulletin timing is 2nd quarter, 2024. We will be updating the advance notice and sending customers a new letter advising them of the revised timing shortly."

Not sure how software is going to help a potential mechanical part failure?
I'd be happy with a 10yr/100,000 mile extended warranty.

I am one of the lucky people who MIGHT have a Mav that could catch fire because of a bad crank shaft that should never of been in the factory to be accidentally used. Anyways, I can trade it in on another mav i have coming in, But my son loves it. "Or will the dealer take it?" and if they do I have been told they can't sell it till it is fixed? Is any of this true and what would you do? If you have any ideas... Thanks

We traded ours with the recall and the dealer has it for sale

Where are these used hybrids? There are none for sale within 400km of me.

In ga it was ours and we traded it in for a 24 were not going to take in chances with our grandson in the truck
