Wiper motor recall 2023 hybrid

I noticed on my Ford Pass app that there is a recall for possible wiper motor seal leak

there is water leaking into the cabin, is this the likely cause?

no idea but possible i guess. There's lots of thread/post on water leaks from the cowl area. I would suggest getting it corrected before mold, etc builds up under the carpet. Do a forum search on terms like: water leak

You have another problem with water in the cabin.

Seal into the unit is this problem. Not into cabin.

Description
In some of the affected vehicles, the windshield wiper Motor may be missing sealer between the gear cover and gear housing allowing water to intrude into the wiper Motor. The missing sealer may cause the windshield wipers to become inoperable.
