Hi all, this is my first post and still figuring out how to navigate the site so apologies if this is already asked and answered here. Was looking on the Ford website to see what my order may look like and noticed all trims now have the accent lighting DRLs. Is it safe to assume that this is now the norm for all trims or maybe just a liberty taken on the website? Wondering as I like the look of the accent lighting versus using the headlight bulbs on the '22s, might replace otherwise. Thanks!
Ordered a 2023 Maverick XLT EcoBoost AWD with a hitch.

Welcome to the zoo.

Please be careful to not feed the bears and trolls that lurk in the shadows here.
They get pretty snarky if you put food out for them.

As for question, I don’t have that answer for you, but I bet the @fordvideoguy can answer it.

Thanks for the reply! I'll see if Ford Video Guy knows some info about it. And I'll try to keep the bears in their cave and trolls under the bridge where they belong! :)

I just looked through the "Compare Models" section on the build site and its just a stock image sadly. It says that the LED Headlamps With LED Signature Accent Lighting is not available on XL and XLT and Standard on Lariat trims.

Sad.... You got me excited for a second there

Shoot, that's a bummer. Thanks for looking into that anyway though! Maybe Ford will change their mind... đź‘€ Did you hear that Ford?

I'm gonna say the fact that all models show the signature DRLs in the build and price is a mistake when they made the build and price tool.

If you go into the lariat build and price and click on the info for the Lariat (500A) equipment group, one of the first thing you see is this:

"Lariat includes all XLT features, plus:
- LED headlamps with Signature lighting"

This signals that it is not included in the XLT or XL trims.

I just took a minute to check the build and price web site for the MY23 and found that the DRL Accents on the headlights are still just a feature of the Lariat trim. Sorry.

Too bad, but thanks for checking on that for me!

That's a shame really. The DRLs look great and obviously serve a purpose. I get the LED headlamp omission from XL and XLT though.

Nonsense. Please feed the bears. Just do it by randomly airdropping food in bear territory. That way, no association of humans with food.

We'll trade with cute poses from bears.

Thank you.

Signed,
Bears

Unfortunately, XL and XLT use the low beams as DRLs. Someone tried to get the turn/parking lights to be DRLs, but the low beams insisted to stay on as DRLs also https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ts-to-be-the-drls-instead-of-low-beams.14491/. Having turn/parking lights only as DRLs would have been awesome since I have replaced my turn/parking lights with Lasfit switchbacks. I had to make do with these as my DRLs:

This is correct. Just got my XLT today and it doesn’t have them
