Impressive! My current 03 Explorer Sport Trac with on-demand 4WD could handle that. I wonder how my FWD Maverick Hybrid will do? I think my needs/ expectations will be lower. I'm older and more conservative now. 😁

I’m impressed, awd performed great, probably will need recovery mats cause it will dig it’s self in; and good to know normal drive is solid, the other modes are for fun.

Matches what I’ve found in our 6” of slush and snow. Pretty well planted and able to get through everything I have been able to throw at it.

Maine. Wp I ld have liked to have seen you try to mud ruts mode. It's what for recommends for the deep snow and what I used o walk out of the snowballs that the plows pushed up against mine

We’ve had almost two feet of snow the last couple days here in the Wasatch and my FX4 has been amazing. I switched over to the Wildpeak AT3s as soon as I left the lot. I should have ordered the truck that way, but I like the black wheels.

While I’m experienced driving in snow, the slippery mode is great for newer drivers as it slows down throttle response making it harder to get into trouble. Traction is Subaru level or better, which is my gold standard for AWD. Hill decent at about 10MPH is perfect for the steep passes.

The Maverick punches way about it’s weight. I’m loving it.
