I am still happy with the Maverick. I love the ride and handling. The gas mileage has averaged around 30 mpg over the last 4 months. Got the first dent when someone banged the rear passenger door getting out of their vehicle. Of course they left before I saw the damage. I decided to just get the spot touched up for now. Casper, the friendly cactus gray Maverick continues to roll on. Disconnecting the stop/start was the best decision I have made. The truck now has a little over 12,000 miles on it. Call it a work truck or whatever you want. It is truck enough for me, and the less computer tech it has, the better I like it.

I'm glad you are still liking your Maverick. I have the exact same truck and it's just the perfect little truck!
I'm curious has your gas mileage improved over time? I'm only at 4,000 miles and do mostly in town driving, my mileage is around 22-23 mpg with eco mode. I was thinking it may improve as the engine breaks in more.

My '24 EB has just over 2000 miles and gets 27 MPG (verified after fill up). Took a short highway trip yesterday and it reported 29 MPG.

I've got just a little less than 9K miles on my Tremor and its doing right around 30MPG mostly rural 2 lane roads. Its at 28.6 from day one 2 1/2 years ago with includes some crappy weather and some idle time sitting waiting for whatever.

Thanks for sharing. I thought I was the only one getting less than 30mpg. I average around 19.2 driving in JC/NYC city streets. The most I have gotten is 22mpg.

Only 8,300 miles,
Zero issues
27- 31 mpg depending on my right foot.
Love my consistent V-8 power. And I use it.

Yes, even Ford says it gets better after 4,000 miles. Also, you will get much better when taking trips.

'24 EB 28,000 miles we have driven the crap out of this truck.
Been to both coast & to Dallas. No issues so far keep the oil
changed at about 5,000. I plan on getting the transmission
fluid changed at about 30 or so.
Mileage is damn good if you ask me.
Average for the year is 28.7
low mpg for a tank at 24.9
highest @ 33.1.
Not allot of stop and go traffic I try my best to avoid that
crap!

Is yours AWD? Mine is AWD with the 2.0 EB and that's about what I have been getting in Normal Mode. Now if I get on the Highway I see 30 mpg. FWIW I'm just about at 2,500 miles maybe it will get better with more miles on it.

My 24 AWDEco got better after 5,000 miles.
It seems, appears, to continue to be getting even better at 8,300 Miles.
It’s starting to, ā€˜feel’ like it’s broken in.
The Turbo ā€˜Seems’ to spool up the mil faster.

Seat of the pants feel and watching the tach climb faster than ever is my only test equipment.
