Nine month review: Maverick XL Ecoboost

After nine months and 6,362 miles, I am still happy with my truck. The last time I checked the mpg was several days ago. Over 804 miles it averaged 30.5 mpg. That was mostly highway miles on two lane roads with 55 to 60 speed limits using normal mode. The truck continues to drive and handle very good. I love the cactus gray color. It does not show much dirt and looks pretty clean even when it is a little bit dirty. The only thing I don't like is the stop/start. I had it disconnected for 15 days, but decided to hook it back up. I am trying to make myself to remember to turn it off every time I get in the truck. This is the best truck I have even owned. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Merry Christmas to you as well. After 16 months and 28k trouble free miles, I still love mine as much as when I drove it off the lot. I’m with you on the start/stop, that poor button is probably going to be the first thing to break on mine!

Just wondering.why would you reconnect the stop start switch.next to a round shifter knob thats the worst thing on my truck! Otherwise i love mine.
