Is the battery charge % setting located in one of the ForScan "easy modes"? I've seen it mentioned multiple times but haven't seen anyone say where that setting is located. I'm installing an AC Delco LN1AGM AGM battery in my Hybrid today and want to set the charge rate to 95%.

Adjust Battery Target State of Charge (Ecoboost only)BCM(EZ) Change "Battery Target State of Charge" to desired value (% percent)Factory = 80% , suggested change 95% (RESET BMS AFTER)

I was thinking of doing the same thing but saw the (Ecoboost only) comment?

I also read that it might not change how the battery is charged in the Hybrid since it doesn't have an alternator, but figured it can't hurt if the setting is there. I need to get rid of the constant deep sleep mode! I want to be able to use remote start in the winter, otherwise I'll sell the thing.

Thanks for the location of the setting.

It's the charge rate you are changing, it's the move to float charge when SOC from 80% to 95%.

The Battery Type setting probably dictates that rate of charge, as well as the BMS reset checking for 9 hrs on what the battery seems capable of. Of course during that time it can only discharge for testing.

Hey - curious if you saw a difference - or looked at live data to see if battery held at that higher SOC% now?

I can't really say if it made a difference or not since I changed the battery at the same time. Since changing to the AGM battery Sept of 2024, I've gotten the deep sleep mode maybe 3 times. I just reset the BMS when it happens after I drive it.
