I know the 110 V is limited to 400 watts and I've read of some who have found that it is not enough to run some appliances. Does the inverter just shut off vs. blowing fuses when overloaded? I don't intend on overloading, but don't want to get into chasing fuses if I accidentally overload it.

I wish I had a better answer for you but I’ve only charged laptops with my inverter so far and no overdraw experience with that so far. I haven’t needed it yet for tools or appliances.

I put a full-size household fridge on it for giggles and in my experience it will just shut off, pretty much instantaneously.

Just cuts off and flashes in my experience. No blown fuse.

I tried a very small hand held vacuum, couldn't handle it just like on/off on/off etc. use it for charging lap top, drill, phone all cordless batteries etc that's all it can handle.
