Why does it have to be Motorcraft? Plenty of other options. NGK, Autolite, Bosch.

I prefer Motorcraft in my Fords with good results and never had problems I also liked NGK’s in my Kawasaki’s but I may end up running them.

I’m going with the NGK after all. My HP Tuner wants to tune with 1 heat range lower and the NGK 6510 LTR7IX-11 are what I’m finding others are working with

I should have added motorcraft plugs are good. So nobody should take it as they are not. I’ve just had very consistent luck with ngk for performance and mileage one some heavy boosted things.

I had great performance results with NGK plugs for my 2019 Ranger, would normally use Motorcraft brand for Ford except plugs.

Add me to the NGK club. Would recommend. Have run them for years in various snowmobiles with no issues. Also running them in my Corvette.

So after good amount of research and trying different plugs recommended I found that Brisk Silver are the best for boosted applications like the Maverick or my Focus RS. The problem with NGK they gapped from NGK at .40 and should only gapped no lower than. 30. The groundstrap is too weak to stay at proper gap of. 24 for my applications. The Ruthenium I liked however it's the same issue plus that tiny welded on piece to the groundstrap can break off under Boost. Don't buy pregapped plugs either or buy plugs off Amazon or any other than a good parts store or Summit. These brisk plugs last a good long time, they come from Brisk gapped at 28 so if running stock gap then x
just recheck gap before installing oh and they're only $10 range at Summit.

Champions now, those are good for one thing, being the basest baseline that everything else is usually better than lol ... No actually two things, having well laid out temperature and nose length tables, resistance data etc etc, so you can look at what champion equivalent your plug is, then see what champion is longer, shorter, hotter or colder, then look up the "good" plug equivalent of that.

One of these days I'm gonna find out what a Bosch plug is actually good in. Whenever I hear anyone raving about them, I have to wonder if they just thought it was amazing their motor now ran somehow after replacing burned plugs. Damn things have never done much good in anything I put them in.

Yeah, remember I'm looking for racing Plugs though for boosted platform. Anyways, I found what I want. I'm just throwing out the information that I found for anyone that has a Maverick or similar Ecoboost platform looking for a great plug. Just put bigger Turbo i in the RS and the Maverick is in line for a 2.3L stroker from Speedperf6rmanc3.com and a CR Performance 57 mm Turbo
