I've driven 15,000 miles in a year and a half, and am still quite happy with the truck. This though is my only real complaint. I don't know if is something about the black plastic trim used on the Maverick, but my 2022 XLT Hybrid always has these black streaks all around its Cyber Orange body panels and front bumper. Have never noticed it with any other vehicle parked in the driveway. Short of regularly washing and scrubbing the body clean, I have no clue how to prevent these streaks everywhere.
Yes, this is my only real complaint. Sure a front fender does not align perfectly with the bumper; it has been subject to three recalls, plus a service bulletin or two; the paint color of the bumper is slightly different than the body panels; and the drive mode not staying in Eco mode, but those are just the minor annoyances of owning any first-year vehicle, even more so for one built during a worldwide pandemic.
