So 2.0 Engine + AWD + FX4 + 4K Tow Package = Fastest Output, if you are disregarding trim levels or extra add ons.

What all does the FX4 add to the output? It says it has a Heavy Duty Cooling Fan and Heavy Duty Radiator.. Does that help performance?

FX4 adds weight(skid plates, tow hooks, tires, and coolers), wind resistance(tow hooks), and rolling resistance(AT tires). Will it add up to a 10th? 2 10ths? Hard to say. And it would have to be tested over and over again at that level of difference to tell. Also since FX4 requires XLT and up the weight is heavier there aswell. But if you get a 2.0 XL AWD 4K(for the ratio which will be the major advantage) with no options it will be the fastest possible factory maverick.

Personally I ordered a XLT FX4 4K. And Im getting a topper, a lift, and 31s. But I am hoping for a tune, exhaust, intake and intercooler. That will bring my power up atleast 60hp to get back to being as fast or a touch faster than a XL hotrod.

By pulling some VINs off of cars.com, I pulled the Ford OASIS report

AWD without 4k has a gear ratio of 3.63 to 1

4k has a gear ratio of 3.81 to 1

So to me, get the 4k towing in a basic XL truck, run shortest and widest tires that will fit over the brakes, then get base line 0-60!!!

We could pull off the tailgate, the spare, and the backseat to pick up a lil bit too. Maybe pull the underbody felt for less wind resistance underneath.

Car and Driver is pretty well known to wring the ever living shit out of their test cars for some ridiculous 0-60 times that most can't replicate.

There's only so much you can do in an automatic with no manual control. Brake torque, build up boost and put your boot on the floor.
And their times are also an average of several runs.

Just saying that very often owners find it nearly impossible to replicate C&D times manual or automatic so I don't really consider them to be realistic

On paper, an XL 2.0 AWD w/4K and no other options should be the quickest factory configuration for the Mav. I could see a 5.6-.8 in ideal conditions, an experienced driver, and 93 octane gas. I've yet to see this combination tested.

Will be really fun to see the times when some tunes start getting released. Certainly potential for sub-5's 0-60.

This is what I have ordered so will give it a try if it ever shows up. Pretty crazy this little thing could be one of the faster production ice trucks, close to raptor 0-60 time.

I agree, but for me personally, I am going from a Hyundai Accent with probably an 11 second time. Also, I want a small truck so Tesla is out of the picture. For all things given, the Mav is pretty damn fast for what it is.
