Just last week I put $1000 deposit on a 2023 Prius figuring I was going to be out of luck for a Maverick. I was thinking I would keep my 2004 Tacoma with 66,000 miles for truck stuff and trade in my 2001 MR2 on the Prius. The Prius will take a year to get (I am so used to waiting). I will drive the Maverick until the Prius comes and decide whether to sell the Maverick or keep both.

Changed it to a EB two weeks ago, ditched the hitch, I was concerned about how many XL's Ford was going to produce and the price increase for 2024. Small dealer, no idea of allocations. Sold a nice Ranger a few years back and miss it.

I have a 22 XLT which has been great. I ordered the 23 Lariat for my wife, but after I ordered it she said she would prefer something besides a Maverick so I was going to sell/trade the 22 and keep the Lariat for myself. If it gets scheduled, fine. If not, no big deal.

I did order the 22 from Chapman Philly and it took 16 months. I ordered the 23 from Chapman Philly as well and they put me at priority 19 so with allocations I probably won't get the 23 and I won't be ordering a 24.

Probably go with a full electric for my wife now and remain a 1 Maverick family.

Ok finally got a build date today, 602 days since my original order.

07/31/2023 build date, original order 10/21/2021, rollover 09/16/2022.

(Velocity)-Atlas blue XLT Hybrid, LUX, CP360, SIBL, Bed Rails, Remote Start.

As long as they don’t change build date, delivery should be about 1 month short of 2 years.

One week after placing an order I got a build date….

• We don’t get emails in Canada. Dealer texted me the confirmed build at 10:31AM MST.
• Week of August 21
• Waiting for dealer to send VIN
• 🛻 Lariat Tremor Off Road Package with 360 Co-Pilot in Avalanche. (No other add ons)
• Southern Alberta, CANADA
• Ordered June 7, 2023
• Removed the tri fold tonneau and mud flaps this week due to constraints and only 1% of orders are for Tremors so that also may have been in my favour. Ordered this from a small dealership with an open allocation and no other orders ahead of mine for Mavericks. Anyone in Alberta looking to order check Strathmore Ford they had two open allocations 2 weeks ago. Can’t stress enough the importance of making sure your dealership has an open allocation.
