I would gladly be hitch only instead of Lux Hybrid but I was told the odds were better this way if you want the hitch. Waiting is the hardest part.

Having gotten used to not being scheduled (and not being too anxious about it), I didn't check my email until last night. Son of a gun, I had an email from Ford that was received yesterday morning (2/9) at 8:15 AM PT stating that my XL hybrid (iconic silver) is scheduled for production the week of April 10. VIN ending in 375XX. Co-pilot 360 was the only option I ordered. So pretty basic.

I'm in Western WA. Placed my order through AutoNation Ford Bellevue (WA) on 9/17/22 after a call from salesperson on the evening of 9/15 stating the order bank was open. The in-person order process took less than an hour. Salesperson said I would likely not see a truck for 6 to 8 months. When I got home I had a Ford email confirming my order. I would check occasionally with the dealer's GM and got on a first name basis. He kept me apprised as to how many orders he had, where I was in line (about middle of pack), and what his allocation looked like. He always cautioned that there were no guarantees and that Ford Maverick scheduling was unpredictable, but he kept saying that with his allocation and my position in his priority rankings it was most likely a question of "when, not if" my order would go to production. Having nothing but good things to say about how the dealership handled everything. Was not a customer previously and had no special relationship. Dealership was very upfront, very efficient, and, as it turned out, very accurate (at the dealership level).

From everything I have read here - while it may seem like more are being scheduled - the number of Hybrids built by Ford will still be limited to the 35% capacity that they outlined at the beginning of the 23 model year.

Got my email yesterday at 8:11 AM Pacific that my Mav is scheduled for the week of April 10.

Original order date November 8, 2021 order, carried over to September 16, 2022.

XLT Hybrid, Carbonized Gray, Lux Pkg, CP360, SIBL, Cleat System, Rear Slider.

Citrus Ford Ontario; this is my second Maverick order. I have a '22 XL AWD,Velocity Blue that i received from Citrus Ford in January 2022.

Now the second part of waiting begins.

No email again. It really hurts to see posts of people who put in a new order (with the same build with exception of color) get VINs.

Holy Fuck. Something doesn’t seem right. My son ordered his in August of 2021 and received it May 20th 2022. Are you sure that your dealership actually sent in the order?

Depends on whether Ford burned through their planned allotment of XLs with their roughly 9,000 fleet builds.

They didn't, because my hybrid XL was just scheduled, projected for the week of March 27th!

I've been getting the 45-day "disappointment" emails, so Ford definitely knows about it. Checked with Ford Chat several times. Same story every time... Priority 10 - Unscheduled Clean.

Another week gone and nothing to report! It has now been 483 days since I initially ordered my 2022MY Maverick. I reordered a 2023MY on Sept 16 at 9 AM. All paperwork completed properly. It is a priority 10 order. My dealership has plenty of 2023 allocations.
