I saw a '22 Maverick XLT today just like the '23 I want (except I want hybrid). Gent said it took 6 months to get. He loves it. He recommended extended warranty and buy tourneau cover elsewhere.

After 14 months I finally received the email about 8 am Pacific time with my vin number 73! I originally ordered in October of 2021. XL online through Hansel Ford in Sonoma county. Had to change to the Atlas blue for 2023, copilot360 and floor mats. originally ordered the hitch too which had to be deleted due to constraints. I have a tentative build date of April 10th.

How did you find out '127.' I keep calling and get nada!

This is merely an assumption on my part. At the top of the build sheet it lists " Preview Order" and then O (followed by a number) - I just assumed that meant I was order 127 for them given that I knew from my salesman that as of July they'd already been taking preliminary reservations so once the order bank opened, they would add all the orders at once.

Ford has budgeted for 600 per month (8% capacity) and they should only have around 1,300 left to schedule. So, even if 20% of their Tremor capacity goes overseas, Ford should be able to wrap up Tremor orders by June assuming they are sticking to that 8%.

As a result, by July, the only thing stopping a given Tremor order from being scheduled will be dealer allocations

Alloctions. That's the issue. Small dealership, rural, 12 allocations, 18 orders. My Tremor is one of the last as the body codes held up mu order till the 19th. Maybe next year

Congrats on getting your maverick. As far as your trade in Stang. I would go in prepared with some written offers from Carmax, etc. Keep them in your folder and don't pull them out unless they are dead set on giving you a crappy offer on your trade. Then use them as a bargaining chip. They should match one of those offers. Best of luck with your new Whip!
