Seeing all these XL hybrid with only hitches being scheduled is making me jealous

On October 25, 2022, 472 days ago, I placed an order for a stripped XLT hybrid. The only option was a hitch receiver. (we all know how that's going.) In October of this year (23), I removed the hitch from the order. When Ford offered the SIBL / cargo management special, I added that, thinking that since they now have excess capacity for the SIBL, this might make my order more attractive to put in the schedule queue.

On January 9th, 23, about 5 weeks ago, I received the standard email from Ford saying "thanks for waiting. Don't get your hopes up".

Today, 2/9/23 (I'm adding the year because the way things are going, people will be wondering exactly what year this all took place; as people will still be waiting in 2027.) The scheduling email arrived at 11:11 AM east coast time. I first forwarded the email to a 2nd email address for safe keeping, and then closed and opened the email numerous times, just to confirm it was actually there,. It's there. Looks like it could be authentic.

If they build on the scheduled week of April 10th '23, it will be 531 days since my order was put in. XLT / Hybrid / Atlas Blue (original Area 51) / SIBL - cargo mgmt as the only option.

A shout out to George Coleman Ford in Greenville, SC where I placed the order. They have been great to work with. A small dealership, but well managed. They have always kept me advised and completed all the excruciating Ford paper work. I didn't originally receive the Special Private Offer and the sales manager really went to bat to get that done for me. So, now I will be saving the $2,750, as advertised.

Good luck to everyone else. I'm figuring 600 days since the original order date before I'm sitting in the driver's seat.

I'm thinking my dealer's estimate of "late spring" would have worked if not for the 9,000 fleet vehicles eating up capacity. Now it is looking like it will show up after I really needed it the first week of June, even if it is scheduled in the next batch. So, I guess I'll start looking at a back-up plan for that week of June.

Have not gotten any emails since I ordered it. Originally ordered the Hybrid, but changed over to EchoBoost and AWD when we was given the chance on 12/19/22, found out email was wrong and they changed it, but still do not get any emails. Checked tracker after chat and VIN worked. Also verified with then dealer and that is what he shows.

As least I have a VIN now.

Out of curiosity, do you think all TREMORS should be scheduled on paper by June as well? Lariat Tremor over here (9/19)

Ford has budgeted for 600 per month (8% capacity) and they should only have around 1,300 left to schedule. So, even if 20% of their Tremor capacity goes overseas, Ford should be able to wrap up Tremor orders by June assuming they are sticking to that 8%.

As a result, by July, the only thing stopping a given Tremor order from being scheduled will be dealer allocations

It's funny that I ordered both my son and daughter the same truck on the same day but from two different local dealerships. My Son's truck is Scheduled for 2-15-23 but I never got the notification email from Ford. It did have previously assigned Vin.

I am waiting to be Scheduled at Tuttle Click Irvine I so far very impressed with them and only wish I could get scheduled very happy to see that they getting some orders processed. I happy that after waiting so long you got yours, I may not be that patient as 146 days has been frustrating. Hope the final process goes well.
