I'm in Central NC, my closest dealer had great communication after reserving, but then when I saw people online were getting orders in I called and they said, "that's not possible, the system isn't up yet".

Ok... so I called my next closest dealer and they got me in to do the build submission the same day lol. Got my confirmation email within a few minutes from Ford. Dealer has a $700 administrative fee unfortunately. My out the door is...

~$32,050 Area 51 Lariat with Luxury package, + console vault + moon roof (no bed cover, not sure about that yet)
~$700 dealer administrative fee
~$1,000 tax
~$110 Tag, Title, Registration
~$60 "electronic filing fee"

Grand total of about $34,000 out the door for a loaded Lariat hybrid

Well the Granger Ford deal is real and 3% under is the reality, while it is not a large amount it usually offsets other fees that dealerships charge...

Just my .02 about how we sell vehicles...
I'd love to see a Canadian dealer do this.

Narrator: He won't.

Finally added mine to the link on the first post. It said to post and let you know. Thanks!

When the thread first started, there wasn't a tracker. Glad I saw this post or I wouldn't have known there was a form to fill out now.

were you able to lock in the trade in value today for when you take delivery in a few months or how does that work?
I’m selling the car outright to the dealer, not a trade.

When I look at this numbers, I can't help but think to myself that everything is just rounded up to look nicer on paper. I see a bunch of Canadian Ford managers standing around saying no no no, add $20 there and $50 here!

Conversely, the American listed prices (including the invoice costs floating around) are the complete opposite, down to the dollar odd values. Of course, then my brain is thinking they just set those prices to have themselves perceived as thinking critically about the costs down to the penny, which they would do to give the consumer the impression they are getting a good deal.

There is a cynical, sunny side down to everything apparently :rolleyes::ROFLMAO:
Why does co pilot 360 cost so much in Canada?
