Order posted to the form. I sold my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to a dealer a week ago because of the crazy high used car prices. The Gladiator was a lot of fun, but I couldn't shake the nagging feeling that I'd overspent and it was poor value. In the year+ I owned it I never really took advantage of all its off road features (other than a few basic dirt roads) and I hated the 17 MPG I was averaging.

After I discovered the Maverick, I decided to put in an order for a very basic XL with CoPilot360, a spray-in bedliner, a drop in bed mat, and a trailer hitch. Under 23k for a really unique vehicle that's a much better fit for how I actually use it and makes me feel like I'm getting a bargain even at full MSRP. I'm excited for the Area 51 color, too, which seems similar to the Cavalry Blue color Toyota used for a few years and even reminds me a bit of my dad's old Chevy Luv that I learned to drive on a few decades ago. I can't wait!

Ordered mine yesterday, no deposit. Lariet (2.0), cactus gray, 4k tow package, 360, full size spare, floor liners w mats. MSRP $29645
Waffling on when to do spray on bed liner but have plenty of time to add it if I want Ford to do it, otherwise I will use LineX and save a few bucks.

Check with the dealer as to if done by non Ford company is rust perforation warranty negated. If it installed by Ford it is covered by
New vehicle warranty.

Indeed. This is a good forum. Lots of nice, helpful people on this one. I learned what a courtesy dealer is and it saved me 24 hours of driving! lol

Anyone else having issues getting vehicle ordered? I have contacted 4 dealers within 100 miles with no success in getting order processed. Today I received this reply from Dlr#4.

“We are waiting to hear back from our Ford Rep. on when we can move forward with the completion of your order. Things are currently at a stand still due to the unexpected shortage of vehicles and microchip issue. When we get the okay to push your order through from the online order stage to the building stage we will contact you again to confirm final build spec [which you have sent], final estimated price, and collect the deposit to contiune to process. We will keep in touch as soon as we get more infomration on the situation at present.”

I contacted 4 as well... 3 local, 1the other a bronco order... details in a previous post. I went with a 5th... @Granger Ford Motors... seamless, painless, midwest hospitality.

I ordered my Ford Maverick Lariat today At Angela Krause Ford in Alpharetta, GA - very excited!

I just emailed the dealership. I changed from hybrid to ecoboost, changed FWD to AWD, added FX4 pkg and moonroof. Wife is going to roll the eyes. I figure this is probably one of my last new vehicle purchases as I plan on keeping it for a long time. Those gloss black wheels look sweet.

I cannot imagine ordering a vehicle until after I had the opportunity to drive one in the wild.
Many vehicle seats hurt my very problematic back.

I felt the exact same way, including the bad back. But several dealers told me the Bronco Sport is the same seating config as the Maverick. I sat in several of them and it felt very comfortable to me (6'3" with that bad back). So, I pulled the trigger.
