People and their biases are funny, and it's fine, we all have our preferences. But at this point CVT, if not already "regular", is on the verge. I've had 2 of them. The first one sucked (Toyota since refined it) and the current one is the best transmission/transaxle I've had spanning 16 cars...
Great review, thanks!
Regarding the poor trade in: whatever amount you got under the dealer trade-in value you see in online calculators (plus considering the great market for used cars which should bump that up if they haven't made adjustments lately) that is the amount to add to the sale price...
I've figured out that it should easy to get the black rubberized lining for the largest orange "stain" in the middle below the dash (or just remove the orange one and line it with some stick-on grippy stuff) and I figure if I end up with an XLT (doubtful) I would tape over the other orange...
I've been re-running my online build (I still haven't ordered) every few days, seeing some really screwy things. The latest: When I tried to add the manual sliding window on the XL, it now forces a mini-package with CoPilot 360. As there is no relationship between the two, it is weird. And thus...

This is AMAZING, very cool, thank you!
One of our nearby dealers is adding its own $3000 package to ALL their Fords, one of those protection for everything that most of us would never willingly choose. I point this out to ask if you have any stats on dealer forced price add-ons for these sales...
You nailed it, and I'm surprised others don't recognize this common strategy --packages-- that all brands use. However some will sell some stuff individually, but not when they know what they can gain by not.
As I prefer both the interior and the more humble "steelies" (gotta love the...
