I watched his 30k mile review and I couldn’t agree more! I absolutely love my truck, considering all the worries that were written on thus forum! Some were legit concerns about possible catching fire, air bags and so on. Thank God I didn’t Experian of that except for her annoying rattling and took care of that using his advice! I’m now at 20K with all recalls taken care of except of course the dreaded engine failing. I’m now seeing many more mavericks on the road with every on the drivers seat wearing a Huge smile! Yep I would go it again!

Thank you Shay for all your videos!

I agree as well. His voice is so smooth it is like wiping your ass with silk!

The CR March issue (published in January?) includes their survey of owners' answering the question "would you buy this vehicle again?" to produce a list of cars owners love most. There sits a picture of a Maverick Hybrid adjacent to a Corvette.

Well, I'd originally planned on buying again and even placed an order for a 2024 back in December, but the more my husband and I discussed it, we came to the conclusion that we'd order a 2024 Ranger instead.

I'm still staying on this forum. Wish I didn't have to sell my Maverick to get the Ranger because I'd still use it as my every day driver.

I had the same question. If'n ya need something as hard to park as an F-150, why not just get the real deal?

I was very disappointed when the "new" ranger was revealed a few years ago and it was not much smaller than an F-150. Neither of which fit in my garage.

Need something with more pulling power, and while the AWD Maverick with the 4k tow package would do the trick, I'm giving in to the desires of my "inner teenager" and finally buying a real truck... not that the Maverick isn't a real truck. (Back in the day I always wanted one of those monstrous Chevy K5 Blazers with the big lift and tires. Alas, I grew up in a family of VW and English car-driving tree-huggers. Funk that!)

And to answer Ozarkbeard's same question, my husband has an F150 and I hate driving it. Not sure if it was this forum or the Ranger forum, but someone described the F150 drive as "boat-like." Fairly accurate!

What is the wait time for the Ranger?

No idea. All I can tell you is my production date got bumped from March 4th to March 11th.

For the record the Ranger forum isn't nearly as animated as MTC. I'd rather suffer with my peeps who have already or are presently experiencing "the long haul."
