They they look up the old TSB is redirects to a new one. 23-2059.
The complication is that the old TSB was basically split into two. 23-2059 deals w/ CEL. 23-2060 is for the grabby brakes.
You could cause confusion by asking for the old TSB....since it now atomically redirects to a TSB that...
I looked through the owner's manual.... looks like you will need power supply to do that.
There are some instructions for manual release of parking brake...but owner's manual indicates that this is for gas Mavericks, not hybrids.
I browsed through the workshop manual and couldn't find...
Mine are exactly the same.
Ford's answer is that it is just cosmetic:
SSM 51381 2021-2023 Various Vehicles - Tire Sidewall Wavy/Indentation Appearance
Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may experience a tire sidewall wavy/indentation appearance in the radial direction on one or both...
Yes, that does make more sense!
Interesting that 22-2493 automatically redirects you to 23-2059 alone though.!
(but that would only have an impact if someone is looking up the old TSB specifically....if looking for TSB by the symptoms, you can easily find the other one).
The most up-to-date version of the TSB is 23-2059. The first step of any warranty repair is "confirming the customer's concern".
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:
22-2493 involves reprogramming pcm, abs...
What was offered in 2022 is no longer relevant. Your 23 Maverick was built with whatever options were entered by the dealer in WBDO. If you were a scheduled 22 that was cancelled, Ford created a similar 23 order that the dealer was supposed to review with the customer and resubmit. If you...
Crazy. (unless there are parts/factors I am unaware of). I looked up parts for my own hybrid XLT as example. Parts MSRP for mirror assy & mirror housing cover is like $396.
Replacing mirror should be able 1/2 hr labor..... labor rates vary a lot.... but I doubt their labor rate is $800/hr!
Not...
It is the dealer's "invoice" cost of the vehicle that is "price protected" (on retail orders sold to the original customer who ordered). The dealer will be reimbursed the difference (more of less) of the current invoice price and original invoice price of the Maverick (less any difference in the...
Everything started over when you ordered 2023 Maverick. The only price protection you may have is price protection to Sept 2023.
The private transition offer is meant to offset (some/all) of the price increase from 22->23 MY.
There is certainly a lot of misunderstanding about price protection! I do work for a dealership.... Ford has often screwed up and shorted us on price protection. But it is rare that we get nothing.
I think that there is a greater chance that they got it and don't want to give it to you, than...
Price protection is for the dealer. It is up to the dealer to offer it to the customer (or reimburse after the fact). Ford does sometimes fail to correctly pay the dealer. It is possible that that happened in your case.... or your dealer is just not paying it and blaming Ford.
Ford does not...
The order should be price protected. But it is up to the dealer to honor that. The dealer should be paid for the difference (between the 2 invoice prices, not the MSRPs), but your dealer will have to be willing to extend that to you.
Some will do that automatically. Some you have to ask. Some...
Yeah, you'd think that! XL was/is over-ordered. Currently almost 2x as many retail orders for XL Mavs that Ford will produce in 23 MY.
XLT EB w/ out lux pkg is probably the "easiest" to schedule Maverick.
