Honestly, they probably just don't want to do it, because it will take more time than Ford is going to pay them!
You can take it to any Ford Dealer, but your selling dealer may be most willing to work with you to get the FSA done.
It is not true that the cable needs to be bad to be replaced...

Yes, that would be an issue. The certificate is linked to the address. So if the certificate ZIP doesn't match the "sold to" ZIP, that may be in issue. It may be possible for the dealer to get them to change something, or grant an "exception", but I'm not 100% sure how easy that would be.
If...
Price protection is for the dealer, not the customer. Dealers don't have to offer it to customers.
Ford quite frequently doesn't pay dealers for price protection.... it is supposed to be automatic, but glitches happen, and they aren't easy to resolve.
Many dealers will only refund the...
Dealers should know their estimated allocation numbers for 24 Maverick. Ford should have contacted the dealerships last week. They did for our dealership. This is in contrast to 23 Mavericks, where most dealers didn't find out their estimated allocation numbers until order banks already open...
The acquisition fee is a fee associated with leasing. It is typically added by default on Ford Build and Price (since it typically shows lease prices first).
They did tell dealers expected MY24 allocation ahead of time this year.
Based on allocation & commodity %s, they do give estimates for # of orders w/ various commodities.
BUT, there is an important **** in these notes: "you to NOT need to adjust carry over orders to fit within the constraints...
Only incentive protection info in SmartVincent, not price protection. There is no easy way for a dealer to know what Ford will pay for price protection.
I'm guessing that if your dealer is waiting to see the invoice from Ford, that they are not intending on honoring price protection. I hope...
Ford lowered labor to pay just a little over 2 hours.... I'm sure it will actually take them considerably longer than that the first few that they do!
I'm sure they are just being conservative/cautious about the time, since the actual time it will take the tech is unknown.
I really don't think so...... I do work for a dealership, and regularly look at these reports. When "all" options are listed like that, they usually add up to 100%. Based on my experience, I don't think it means max 65% EB and max 50% hybrid.
Right, that is a different issue.
If you are still unscheduled on 7/17, you should place an order for a 2024 Maverick at the same dealership as you 23 order. The dealer should use the same order number as the 23 order. Your 24 order should be COVPd as well. The dealer should not mess with...
50-65 has to be an error!!! The ratio had been 35 hybrid - 65 EB for a long time. They announced that they increased hybrid capacity to 50%....but never adjusted the EB% down on those reports. 😵 It has been that way for like 3 months now, and no one (who can change it) has caught it!!
That is the "standard" offer that is on basically all the time. Often, around Memorial Day or Veterans' Day, they increase the amount and make the offer applicable to any veteran. But those are limited time.
I can't see the $1,000 military offer that some have received active in my market area..... so I can't be sure about that one.
But the usual $500 military offer (for active, retirees, & veterans w/in 2 years of separation), cannot be combined w/ $500 farm bureau rebate.
Yes,
That does make sense. That's how it usually works. (Not that I don't wish exceptions could be made in circumstances like yours.... We have tried contacting Ford to do that for some customers at our dealership, but it has never worked!)
I'm not seeing the information that I usually do when I look up these programs.... it is possible that it is a regional program (not active where we are), so it isn't showing up for me?
But when I look up your info & certificate number is shows the effecting date being May-11-2023, and...
