Notifications from Ford are dependent on the dealer entering your email address in a specific place in WBDO. It is not a requirement for the cust email address to be entered. If your email address is entered there, you will get updates from Ford, if not, you won't.

Order numbers need to be the same. Order numbers are called "order code" on the WBDO preview sheet (for some reason). Your name should match as well (but that is obvious). And your 23 order needs to be left in the system. At some point Ford will move 24s w/ order numbers matching unscheduled...

A Maverick should not be used to snow plow..... You need a Super Duty for that! The Maverick frame would not hold up to being used as a snow plow. Yes, damage you cause by trying to plow with it would not be covered by warranty. It would be considered "abuse".

No, you should not place an order for a 24 if you are scheduled w/ a VIN. IF something happens and scheduled 23s are cancelled, Ford would deal with that separately (like they did w/ cancelled hybrids last year).

FYI being scheduled and receiving a VIN number is the same thing. There are tens of thousands of unscheduled 23 Mavericks. You are not alone!

Ford is supposed to have taken into account the options on the unscheduled orders. They told dealers that these orders don't have to fit into the constraints (which leads me to believe that some commodities have been reserved for these carryovers).

Dealer should give it a "low" priority #. If the dealer properly enters the order, Ford will be able to identify it as a carryover order, and it will automatically be changed to priority 02 by Ford.

The discount is applied automatically by the system....the dealer has nothing to do with it. I think it is possible that the mismatch in descriptions in order guide, WBDO, and discount memo caused confusion and an additional package was added.

Not really. Unless thereis someone who really likes a particular color. Sometimes the more "unusual" colors (like cyber orange) may go out of fusion in a few years and be less desirable in used vehicles.
