I'm not seeing the information that I usually do when I look up these programs.... it is possible that it is a regional program (not active where we are), so it isn't showing up for me?
But when I look up your info & certificate number is shows the effecting date being May-11-2023, and...
Yes, but do know that the 23 price is not actually protected. There will be a private offer/incentive/rebate that will be for a set amount. This should (approximately/more of less) make up for any increase in the base vehicle price. For 22->23, there were 2 different amounts offered, one for...
I work for a dealer, so I do know this is how it works!!
Maybe they don't put a start date on the mailing, because they are assuming the "start" date is when you receive the offer?
I'd be happy to look up program details for any of these private offers in SmartVincent. Just need the program...
Standard rates are not protected. Most people who got a 22 Maverick did have their (special low) finance rates protected. There were no special finance offers during the ordering period for 23 Mavericks, so no finance rates were protected.
So the situation/ experience regarding interest...
I haven't on Maverick...but it is a common issue overall
Based on that pic, it looks to be warrantable to me. The criteria for "excessive moisture" in the exterior lighting is:
More than 50% condensation coverage, large water droplets, drips/streaks, puddled water (without damage/modification).
It isn't up to the dealer at all. All incentive/offers/programs are verified by Ford through SmartVincent. They are linked to the sale date (and/or order date for retail orders). Only offers valid on one of those two dates can be applied. Ford decides, not the dealer.
It also matters when the program begins. The program wasn't in effect when you placed your order, so the offer isn't protected. You either have to order or purchase the vehicle w/in the time frame of the private offer for it to be valid.
Do you have the program # for this offer, I can confirm...
The PDF clearly shows that the hitch not included in 500A.
Pg 13, option 60B shows that the hitch is optional. It is included in Lariat Lux & FX4 packages.....but the Mav in question does not have either of those 2 packages.
They probably did remove it so the order would schedule.
Can't imagine them doing that (it will cost more than $100 to add after the fact!). They'll just sell to someone else, if OP doesn't want the truck.
The 23 price in not "protected".... the private offer will be based on the (approximate) increase of the base vehicle. Probably by power train. So if MSRP for hybrids goes up ~$2,000 and MSRP for EBs goes up ~$1,000. That is what the private offer will be based on.
If you ordered a moonroof...
I doubt it. Last time the offer was simply based on powertrain. I suspect it will be similar this time (but we just don't know yet).
Changing trim levels at this time may be problematic......that usually changes the "order date". That could possibly screw up the order and maybe make you...
You will be able to reorder something different. But that's not how the "price protection" will work. There will be a private offer rebate given. Probably similar to the 22 -> 23 transition offer, where there were two different offers based on powertrain.
This will be a "model year transition private offer", similar to the one from 22-->23.
No idea on the amounts. Likely more for hybrid than EB.
Any prioritization will be based on COVP....and it will be essential that the dealer uses the same order number for the 24 as the 23. (This was also...
Correct, you won't have to submit an identical order to get the private offer.
You will need to order at the same dealer, and that dealer needs to keep the same order number as your 23MY order.
I'm watching it right now! (But I won't be leaking info that shouldn't be shared at this point.)
They didn't share all of the pricing details, just a hint.
Dealers will hopefully have the pricing details around July 10th!
