It's a truck, man. Be logical and emotionless. Is that truck the best fit for your needs and can you wait? If so, then do so. If not, then move on.
Ain't that the truth? The reason I bought the Maverick is because it's the best fit for my needs and because a 10 year old Ranger with 60K miles...
Consumer Reports has a worse case of yellow fever than a weeb who buys two copies of anime comics so he can read one and keep one in a sleeve as a "collector's item" and listens to K-Pop 24/7.
These guys have no clue. They're rambling on about the CVT and the destination fee, but they never talked about whether this vehicle is useful as a truck.
People want to know what is this vehicle good for and will it work for me? They did nothing to answer those questions.
I was not aware of this. And I live in the state where most of them happen. Still, I think the odds are in my favor. The 1992 Silverado that I had was parked outside for three years and nothing ever happened. Then it went to a secured garage, which is where the Maverick is now.
Still, I think...
A couple of contractors who were shopping at the Home Depot when I was asked if they could look at the Maverick.
They left thinking that they'd buy a hybrid model, which would work for what they did on a day to day basis and that they'd keep their Super Duty around for the few times a month...
Well, I'm just repeating what someone else said. But while I'm not going to bag on people who have super big trucks and then lift them and spend 15 minutes trying to park them in a standard spot, I certainly don't want the hassle of that.
I'll just repeat what the woman who saw me load up my Maverick with supplies said.
"It's clear who definitely doesn't have any compensation issues here."
The threshold is $10,000 for REPORTING the transaction. And it would be foolish to walk around with the $20K plus taxes, tags and other charges that even a base Maverick would cost.
Instead, get the price you will pay and show up with a certified check for that amount. Any small difference, pay...
See the car in my avatar? It's a lot of fun to shift down a gear and punch the accelerator when it's called for.
You don't get the visceral fun of doing that in the Maverick, but you know what? I don't think you'll miss it. I don't. I step on the accelerator and it picks up speed a lot more...
As someone who is a pilot (although a civilian one), I know that the movie is full of crap. Maverick would have been grounded permanently, if not doing time in Fort Leavenworth, for that fly by. And he should have just let Jester go below the hard deck, because if you do that, it's the...
The California DMV made it difficult to get a custom plate. I thought I had clearance on ND4SPD, but when I went to check out the DMV called no joy. I tried INVRTD, INVERT, FLYBY and GSTRDR.
Every time, DMV said, "negative, Ghost Rider, the pattern is full."
So I decided to buzz the tower.
Just ordered this from the DMV. I wanted ND4SPD but they wouldn't allow that one. I tried FLYBY, INVRTD, INVERT and GSTRDR. Every time, I heard "negative, Ghost Rider, the pattern is full."
There was only one thing to do. Buzz the tower.
Don't get mad at me, but I'm going to just put my e-bike into the bed on its side and figure out how to make it work.
That's why I got the spray in liner =)
Any item for sale, whether it's a truck, jewelry, artwork, stock or house, is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
So the question is are you willing to pay the markup? If the answer is yes, then pull the trigger. If the answer is no, then don't.
Ever since I plugged in my phone and...
Only you can decide whether it's worth it to you. Do you NEED the truck badly enough to have to pay $4K over MSRP for it? Will your finances be able to handle the additional burden? Can you wait until the summer to order a 2023 model and wait another five or six months for that to show up...
It's crazy to me that on less than 28 gallons of gas, I'll likely be able to go over 1,000 miles.
To put that in perspective, that would probably get me 350 miles in my old Silverado (granted, it was a 32 year old truck) and I'd be happy if I got 500 miles out of that in my Mustang.
